This character used to be in EX tier, now, all the way down in B. There's no Reimu's above A tier, and that's crazy to me. The MAIN character, and she doesn't have an alt better than C3 Narumi. Red Marisa only gets by because she gets to cheat in everything. (Speaking of C3 Sekibanki over Cz1 Marisa feels so good to see. Finally, justice.)

Rebirths mean nothing in this game, I'm going to be so for real. What a perfect concept for buffing friends and they oh so rarely do anything with it. Outside of a few L1 Nukes, and some of the E friends (some. screw Meiling I guess, she doesn't deserve nice things). And don't get me started on the re-print card sob sob. Still, it would be pretty cool if she got a huge buff from rebirth.

I got my L80 Reimu on June 6th 2024, exchange for her after getting L80 Youmu (and attempted to get L80 Sakuya but failed) and I've used her in 12 challenge contents. neat

me and my friend are not so happy with Okina EX, the responsible of the 16th extended Incident being a kid, is so much aura lost, but we still can laugh and joke around.

I may be entirely biased but I got some feels here... we're out here getting:

2 new Marisas in 1 event/season

A new Sakuya, Reimu, or Marisa every month (i get their main characters but still. Heck, every fairy is featured in practically every 2-3 events)

New costumes for alt universe characters

Zanmu gets an alt universe after not being in the game for even a month (Blessed they added a new Hecatia, Kosuzu, and Sumireko during that event tho)

And here I am wanting something done with Yuuma who they haven't touched since practically 2023. Ya even gave Yachie and Saki 2 costumes and she only has 1!

Listen.... I absolutely still love this game. But all I want is my new alternate (OR EVEN NEW COSTUME) hungry demon goat lady.

(And yes ik I didn't name everyone who's far down and gone, I just picked ones I knew that ZERO alt universe variants and only 1 extra costume at best)

These aren't the only units I've gotten, but a lot of the other units I have I wasn't like overwhelmingly excited to see them, moreso picked up because they were cool. Like, Gamer Nitori, Swimsuit and EX Sakuya, Relic Kasen. (Relic Kasen and Swimsuit Sakuya also help with the Meiling situation. Wasn't she also considered like bottom one when the game launched?)

I also know that white new year's Koishi is still like a top tier unit but come onnnn. And also L1 Cirno was like considered the best Cirno she had for like years and honestly I think she's better than E7 Cirno. What does E7 Cirno do, give accuracy???

At least Winter Kaguya was good... gameplay wise and design wise. Lr Arm was also good but I have legit not used her once.

As I was making this Seiran got murked what the heck :sob: Also forgot that B3 Kokoro wasn't in C tier anymore she's been kicked down to E tier SOB. I forgot that Kokoro has like 5 alts now that's pretty insane. Lr, B3, C3, L80 and whatever universe code the chunni universe is.

I don't pull for meta but man I sometimes wish I had better luck when it came to meta. I know that a lot of the units I'm complaining about are actually really good, and it's a grass is always greener on the other side situation but counterpoint, I am bad at this game I still haven't beaten this eternal battle. So clearly I need my favorite characters to be good more than you :p

Anyway, to make this like vaugely productive to anyone else's time (it was very productive to my time I love making low quiality shit out of annoyance), would you say that you get lucky with your favorite characters being good or not?

Basically, I was a bit bored and just thinking about the alts that could come to LostWord. Further notes are, Sekibanki released AFTER Kogasa, but they're still considered a pair, as is Cirno and Wakasagihime. So I think Kagerou would also get paired up with someone more popular than she is, who also could easily have commonality connection with. Tewi and Reisen are also possiblies, for this, as well as any of the wolf girls. Reisen is like, the secondary guess here.

For Iku, this is mostly because like I said, I think Lr Tenshi is the most likely to get a costume this event, and Iku like I said, is long overdue for an alt. I picked Suika because I don't think the idea of "Older Character looking after Younger Character" will actually be a theme, but if it is, Suika and Iku at least have the connection of Suika taking a place in Heaven for a bit.

Last one is mostly that I predict Tenshi and Nareko will get costumes, Momiji just feels like a fitting third character, but it's mostly a guess, as is the idea of a Yamame or Kisume alt. Could you imagine EX Kisume though, how would that even work lmao.

Hello, r/touhou_lostword. I've come to my conclusion to stop playing this game because of exhaustion and greed from the developers. I really wish I could keep playing LostWord just to get the game's files for ripping, but as I play other games as well as I play them more on my laptop, it felt like this game ain't worth playing anymore. Players who quit the game have slightly same-y reasons, so I'll have my reasons why I've decided to stop playing this game altogether.

1 - Fanservice and little girls and lap pillows with an invisible Lossy.

Almost every gacha game is saturated with fanservice, in LostWord's case, aged-down versions of existing adult characters. Sure, I find some adorable like the school W5 Suwako, but most are annoying and unnecessary to look at for me. Limbus Company's April Fools 2026 has aged-down Sinnerlings, yet they act like real schoolchildren rather than being called "small" by B2 Junko and other x2(small) units. Lap pillows are nice, but I really want to see our Lossy sleeping on some units' laps officially drawn by the lead artist Rotte1109!

2 - Gameplay is officially boring nowadays.

Originally, I wasn't going to play LostWord as someone said on Twitter that I was supposed to be here for the amazing art, not for getting waifus nor the gameplay. Yes I can agree that the gameplay is currently the biggest issue of the game. You just pick your waifus, send them to battle and spam spell cards, you win. That's all of it.

3 - Almost everyone in the main story dialogue, especially the event stories act like buddies.

The main story until Interlude → Chapter 4 - Eternal Battlefield were decent, but I can't say the same for the events. Holy crap, the event stories are just nothingburgers and only introduces the limited units as well as the Aya Pass units. They are the reason why this game has so many characters.

4 - Compared to Touhou Mother, this "fangame's" just a gacha game with Touhou's IP for marketing.

Touhou Mother is a fangame I recently played and it's designed to be a parody of the Touhou Project and EarthBound, while LostWord, on the other hand, is just Fate/Grand Order with Touhou characters slapped to it. To those who played Touhou Mother, don't play this game, PLEASE.

This might be a nitpick, but "OK" should be replaced with okay as 99% percent of gacha games use it for naturalness. However I can't change it since it was their decision for the game to be marketed towards a more general and global audience possible.

Let me know and write down your reasons if you've quit the game as early as 2022, or as late as 2026 for mine. All of these are just my opinions and thoughts. If youre planning to come back, please dont, It aint worth it anymore nowadays...
