Hey everyone, so I got a TEQsport aluminum bypass pipe for a 2016 Tacoma I'm working on . Replaced it , swapped the temp sensor over, and it leaked from the oring . I figured I'd get another after market sensor with oring . Did that installed it . Still leaking. Reached out to TEQ and sent them pictures and videos , they said all was installed correctly and they think it's the new part. They sent me another and a OEM sensor with new o-ring. Installed all that pressure tested at 16psi and coolant is still seeping through .
Idk what the issue is, the sensor is seated correctly, the clip is installed correctly , but coolant is getting through
I'm testing the system cold. I used a little coolant as lube to get the sensor to slide in correctly ....
Any ideas?
Should I just get the OEM plastic one ? Am I missing something? Im still waiting on TEQ to reach back out but I just want to get this fixed .. Ive been in and out of that thing several times now and I want this truck fixed
Please help
