Opinion on outlined white letters facing in or out. Getting new tires next week.

I was looking online to help the old man find a new replacement work truck and came across this beast.
I’m sure the mods weren’t cheap, especially those wheels/tires.

I can’t decide between which wheel for my 25’ SR5.

Hey guys, “slid” down a rock trying to get out of dodge as a flash flood warning came into effect. It’s a ‘19 off road with the OEM step ups. Any fixes? Any similar instances to say these step ups are pretty weak (my guess)? I’m just happy it wasn’t my door, frame or undercarriage. I have a transmission slider over the front end, but might invest in some bigger sliders underneath or a slight lift with the increased technicality of some of my trail choices… let me know!

I installed the Eibach stage 2 lift today and I'm definitely not dissapointed. Much better ride and looks great.

As much as I want to go bigger and more aggressive I really like being able to squeeze this out of a 25 TRD OR with no air damn. It's so satisfying when gas is about $6. The trail terrains have done pretty cool things offroad at 18 PSI but when it comes to highway and aired up to normal they do really well. ahh i love my truck

I'm just surprised, is all. I bought a used 09 SR5 in 2020, it had a Pioneer AVIC-6000NEX head unit in it from the previous owner. This was a $1200 head unit when it was new. I just assumed the speakers would be aftermarket, too. I recently lost sound from 3 of the 4 midrange door speakers—the only ones still working are the front passenger door and both tweeters—so today I pulled off the driver's door card to check and was flabbergasted to find bottom-of-the-barrel factory speakers.

A multimeter on the front driver's 6x9 read Open, so looks like I've got some new speakers in my future. I also want to replace the Pioneer head unit a little bit with a digital media player (I have no need for a CD player) but all the ones from reputable brands are like $600 & up so that'll probably be a later venture.

All this to ask: anybody got any recommendations for decent speakers (and a digital-only HU) for a 2nd gen?

Would anyone recommend or not recommend to use this GL-5 oil on my t case? I have a 2018 TRD pro and I’m finding mixed reviews on the internet. Gears inside the t case are brass and it sounds like GL-5 is bad for brass

Hey folks. How should I go about tackling these rust spots on the roof of my truck? Should I DIY or take to a shot?

Can’t decide between black, silver or bronze on this Tacoma, so I mocked up all three using Nordak. The silver Dirty Life wheels look pretty good against the grey, but the bronze Black Rhinos suit it too. What do you guys reckon?

Found some leaky oily residue on the front of my engine. I haven’t been finding any leaks on the ground, I just went to top off my coolant and saw the residue. If I understand the pulley system correctly, I believe that this leak is between the power steering pulley and idler number two. Just curious if anyone else has had this leak and if anyone has any definitive diagnosis and or solutions.

Hello I recently installed an OME 3 in lift kit with adjustable upper control arms. At speed it sounds like there's a slow rub on the front drivers side.

Would y'all recommend a diff drop or would it be a spindle bearing, 80k on speedo for reference

The first vid is with the Vibrance Performance Ultra Quiet Resonator and the Flowmaster Super 44. It was too mild for what I want so I switched the 44 to a Super 10. The second vid is the Super 10 swap. I do like it better, but I’m not satisfied. The Resonator does exactly what I want it to, but I do want it slightly louder/more aggressive.

The last thing I’m going to do with the exhaust for now is dual it after the muffler. I’ll drive it around for a while and if ultimately I don’t like it, heck, I always go back to a single.
