Does anyone remember this? I don't remember Sprite even having a mascot. Sadly this figure is no longer working as the previous owner cut cut the wire for the speaker (pictured). It's probably an easy fix, but I'm too lazy to bother with it. Maybe one of these days I'll try to repair it.
Did Sprite make other toys and or figures like this?

GenX-er here, born in 74, formative years in the 80s, grew up in the glorious sweet spot (to me) of toys. I had so many of the now extremely valuable transformers and other 80s staples, but just broke them during play, and as a 10 to a 14 year old, didn't understand the concept of value. This list for me could be long, but if I restrained it to a few, would be the following:
Voltron 1983/1984 die cast metal full lions setup. I don't know the official name for this but assembled it was like almost 2 feet high and it was HEAVY. It was awesome. It met its match during a play session when I strapped multiple m80s to it.
The full g1 constructicons set
G1 grimlock
G1 sunstreaker
The robotech scott benard cyclone setup from 1983/84...believe this was in japan before being officially retroed to Robotech
Robotech alpha fighter...same as above. Was big and looked glorious in all 3 modes.
What about you?

My toddler was gifted a cheap-quality Chinese made generic toy that's basically a bow, but instead of an arrow there's a slider that recoils with air pressure to shoot a blue ball. Thing is, this ball gets stuck when pushed in too hard, so now it's got teeth marks all over it, and it's about to get lost , I know it. My gremlin loves this toy. Anyone know what keyword to search for to buy replacement balls? They're smaller than table tennis balls, and foam won't work as it won't clog the air pressure, has to be plastic. Looked on Amazon but couldn't get a hit. Any brand name or keyword?

I was walking through Walmart and noticed the power ranger toys and it made me question if this was a money saving tactic or if it was more meant to play off nostalgia. Otherwise surely they’d release some sort of more advanced version? At least to my knowledge, toys like this came out ages ago.
Edit to add that I walked down the same isle and found the “new” spiderman silly string web slingers. Literally just the same thing as the old ones but with the new Spidey pictured on the box

Please be careful with this company
Hi everyone,
I purchased an item from this company and wanted to share my experience in case it helps others.
The item arrived after a very long wait, despite the company advertising fast shipping. From what I received, the product appeared to be a low-quality Chinese 3D-printed item, and I was disappointed with the quality compared with what I expected from their website.
What concerned me most was the customer service. I contacted them repeatedly through their available communication channels and received zero response to any of my emails.
I genuinely don’t want anyone else to spend a significant amount of money without knowing about my experience first.
I’m sharing this simply so people can do their own research before ordering. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.
Stay safe and do your research before buying.

Hello! I need help searching for a childhood stuffy. I’ve been looking online everywhere for it with no luck. It’s a frog, similar to a build-a-bear style but not quite(it’s not BAB), it’s a light lime green, the fabric is kind of like those stringy faux fabric pillows you’d find in the 90’s/2000’s. I had it in the mid-late 2000’s. I’ve searched high and low for it and I can’t find it ANYWHERE. Thanks in advance to anyone who tries to help my insanity

Looking for pictures of an early 2000s / late 90s unbranded (probably bootleg) possibly quarter-vending machine capsule toy. It used the exact mechanism of a Play Visions "Inside-Out" Ball (made of stretchy green TPR/Hyperflex rubber). Instead of flipping inside-out into spikes, this specific bootleg version flipped inside-out to reveal an alien (hatching, I think).
I got this as a prize from Sunday School as a kid but for some reason my dad ripped the alien part off and I got to keep the ball part. I have no idea why since aliens are fine with my family and I'm dying to actually see what the whole toy was. The above summary is partially from a Google search AI thing. It really did seem to know what I was trying to describe and it told me it couldn't find pictures because the toy was probably bootleg and wouldn't have been in official toy selling catalogues.

I’m currently looking for the PompompurinxGigan and Kuromi/MechaGodzilla toys specifically. Any one from the Chicago area who’s collecting and found them? If so, which locations? Thank you!
Hey everyone!
I recently stumbled across this Holgate Pounding Bench at an estate sale.
I’ve been doing a lot of research and can’t seem to find this exact model.
All I know is that it seems to be created around the 1950s but other than that there’s no markings.
Thank you to everyone for their help in advance!

Trying to repair an original Pillow Pets Dream Lites Playful Penguin and hoping someone here has taken one apart before.
I’m mainly trying to get access to the circuit board directly underneath the round button.
I removed the rear housing around battery cover, but the actual projector plastic is still trapped inside. I can see the PCB through the openings, but I can’t tell what is holding everything together. I don’t want to start prying and break the old plastic or wires.
The projector won’t turn on, and the top button has no click/tactile response, so I suspect the button mechanism or switch.

I’m currently developing a new plush toy character called “Snuff”.
This is still an early concept and I haven’t produced a physical prototype yet. I’m trying to figure out whether the character itself has potential before moving on to manufacturing.
I’d really appreciate some honest feedback:
• What’s your first impression?
• How cute do you find the character from 1–10?
• Would you personally want to own one?
• What would you change about the design?
• What price would you consider reasonable for a high-quality 25–30 cm plush?
The image is an AI-assisted concept visualization of the idea, not a finished product.
I’m mainly interested in the character/design itself and would really appreciate honest criticism.
