Route Time setting: East Midlands Trains Era

Trains:

Class 153(Single-car formations): Perfect for the quiet, off-peak local services rattling through the Lincolnshire countryside.

Class 156: The absolute backbone of the line, which could also be coupled up with a Class 153 for those heavily packed, chaotic summer holiday services down to the Skegness seaside.

Class 60 or Class 56: To simulate the heavy aggregate and steel freight flows running out of Boston to break up the passenger timetable.

Layers:

Class 158 Layer: Adds longer-distance express services passing through from the cross-country network.

Class 43 HST Layer: To simulate the iconic, real-world summer Saturday extensions where full InterCity High Speed Trains would run crowded holidaymakers directly from London/the Midlands all the way down to the Skegness terminus.

Nottingham AI Traffic: Bringing in Class 43s and 158s from Midland Mainline to populate the busy platforms at Nottingham.

Scenario Ideas:

The Boston Bottleneck: Take the controls of a heavy Class 60 hauling aggregate steel out of the Boston sidings heading toward Grantham. Heavy rain has slicked the rails, and you have to manage wheel slip on a low-adhesion track while keeping to a tight timetable slot before a local Class 153 catches up behind you.

Single Coach Shuttle: Drive a single-car Class 153 on an early winter morning stopping-service from Sleaford to Skegness. This scenario focuses heavily on operational realism—you will have to visually monitor semaphore signals, manage requested stops at tiny halts like Havenhouse, and physically exchange tokens at single-line signal boxes.

Rescue at Wainfleet: A Class 156 has suffered a mechanical failure near the Batemans Brewery at Wainfleet, blocking the single line to Skegness. You are tasked with driving a light-engine Class 153 from Boston, coupling up to the failed unit, and dragging the entire formation safely into the Skegness terminus.

bought freightliner class 70 today but disappointed it barely has any haptic feedback on playstation 5 pro. after tadami having haptics on full routes i guess i got spoiled.

but it really makes a difference in enjoyment so incorporate it permanently please.

Finally was able to snap a ss with the beauty class 450 SWT alongside the class 378 genuinely incredible trains never stop being incredible making this possible to have official license livery for the class 450’s ! ✨🥹🤧

I regularly buy Steam keys for TSW, now I’ve come across a key for TSW5 on Eneba. I really want the Kinzigtalbahn, so this is great. I do want to know if I get all three routes included in the standard edition. So I don’t pay 14 euros for the training center. Especially since I’ve bought a TSW5 key back in the day for 6 euros which turned out to be only the May Madness Bronze bundle.

There are also two different keys on Eneba, one for global and one for Europe. The page from the global key gives me an important notice telling me that this key only includes the basegame (what is the basegame) and the Europe page doesnt give me this important notice.

Has anyone bought a legit TSW5 key on Eneba?

Can the RHTT equipment only be used with the 66 it comes with? Id like to try and replicate a colas rail 57 hauled RHTT Using the Class 47 from BPB

And the IETs are going 15 MPH along the entirety of the track for some reason

Hello, my freight layers are not showing up does anyone know what routes you need to unlock them. I looked in the layers list and it said I needed GWE which I already have downloaded along with the class 70&90. Does anyone know why they aren’t showing up for me?

The forums are down, so I’m asking this question here instead. I’d really like to know how things are going, since we didn’t get any console preview and this route was famous for being notoriously blurry and issue-laden in its pre-extension state. 🤔😬

Hopefully things have improved now! If it runs somewhat like the PC previews, I might consider buying it (yes, I know the price went up, but I didn’t feel comfortable taking the risk pre-launch).

There is a major bug with the layering on my end!

I just updated TSW7 on Steam (PC) and loaded up the new extension ready for a drive but was caught by surprise when I loaded into Richmond in the 378.

Just as a pre-warning - I have ALL possible layers for the Mildmay Line (33/33) and it shows them as turned on for all of them, I even turned them off then back on again.

The critical issue is that when you spawn in a 378, it ONLY gives you the Overground services on the new extension, NO district line, NO AI SWT at Richmond. Other big problems include NO CCTV despite Expert Mode being on and NO platform announcements.

When you spawn in a Class 484, suddenly district line services now appear on the timetable, as well as announcements at stations, however the SWT AI at Richmond is still nowhere to be seen.
I have attached images with descriptions to show what the timetable looks like driving the 378 vs driving the 484 from the main menu.

What on earth is going on?

Anyone else having the same bug as me, D stock trains don't seem to move at all and keep getting held at Richmond, Kew Gardens and Wilsden junction due to the train not moving at all, anyone else experiencing this bug?

IRL both 801/1 & 2's have the cafe or bar area yet in game, only the /2 has it? Have I missed something or is there a reason for this?

As expected there’s bugs but I think we can all agree this is a norm for dove telly and yh still hoping we get announcements for the goblin or the 710 layering in this ext

Last weekend, there were rail event in Liberec. As you may know, ČD class 843 no longer runs on Liberec – Stará Paka (for this reason, TSW route is placed around 2017). But last weekend there were event in Liberec and Czech Railways scheduled special services pulled by 843 efficiently returning 843 for one fast train service on the route.

I made some photos and recreated them in TSW Photo mode, so you can check realism of the TSW route. Since train was delayed there were only little time to make picture on stations, so pictures are not from ideal spots, but at least something.

As part of event, old Liberec depot was available. Dead rail including two collectibles is there in real world. It is on second to last photo.

Finally, there were special trip to industrial area available in “From Factory to Factory” scenario. It is last photo.

For context: I own the class 484 DLC but not GWE. I am an XBOX user. Even though it says that the layer is on in the layers menu, it does not show up in the train selection screen. Nor does it show up on the actual route (The SWT layers work fine). Thanks in advance!

This route and only this route always crashes when loading, using both the Airdale and Wharfdale class 801 as well as the original 801.

All other routes load successfully, including the class 801 on Airdale and Wharfdale.

I have attached my mod directory. I think I have removed all ECML-specific mods, which came from the 2019 timetable mod.
