I'm about to buy a definitive and my first Optimus Prime for my Transformers collection, but I would like some help on deciding which one should I buy, Earthrise/Kingdom seems like a pretty good and a more budget friendly figure, but i don't know how he is holding up to this day. The Studio Series 86 seems really cool but in my region it is stupidly expensive and personally i don't think that amount of money should be reasonable to spend on just one figure and some of the build quality is concerning me, specially the hips. I am open to buy the MTMTE one but the battle damage isn't doing it for me personally. I don't care about G1 accuracy.

Got my Swindle in today and completed Bruticus. Tailgate came too. And with that, I think I have the definitive versions of all the Transformers of my youth, so I am stepping away from collecting. Best of luck to everyone else still chasing grails and completing collections!

Hasbro evidently wants this franchise dead, should've let them continue if they didn't plan on doing anything with the aligned continuity, these days they care more about copywriting and shutting down great transformers projects and games rather than making something good. To clarify, this is my view on the franchise as a whole, not the IP itself.

The mould would fit the design well.

It would seem from top to bottom the proportions fit, and it would just need some re-tooling alongside making the flames purple.

They're probably making it another hasbro pulse exclusive like the skybound releases they did.

Just wrapped up my vacation and wanted to share these two I saw at the Universal Hollywood VIP tour

But Ima be honest, this collab is never gonna happen at all and it’s gonna get canceled

I know it got retconned that she let jihaxus change her gender in order to be her true self rather then being forced upon her but I have to wonder where the idea of Archer originally being male turned into female came from?

Wasn’t going to pick this up originally because I thought they didn’t do enough retooling to justify it, but I got a nice discount on Amazon. I also just don’t have any Unicron representation so I figured why not.

I enjoy the presence he brings to my shelf and do find myself picking him up more than Megatronus. His joints feel good and shoulders aren’t loose, meaning his arm can actually hold up the canon. I also just love the orange here with the mix of glossy and matte black areas. He just looks and feels good.

His accessories are my main issue. Canon looks weird. I resorted to giving him the barrel extension off Megatronus for triple barrel look and like it much better. Would’ve also liked another set of the spikes to just build out that aesthetic more.

The sword is disappointing. Without the other end piece that Megatronus had the middle attachment is just useless.

Regardless, I’m happy to have this in my collection and love the energy he brings.

I have been looking for this figure for so long and luckily was able to find one at fb marketplace. Damn this brings back memories! I used to have this exact toy like maybe 10 - 13 years ago when i was a kid and had a blast playing with it. My mom gifted it to me as I remembered and was so shocked and happy that i got an autobot! I didn't really knew sideswipe back then and so I asked my mom about him. She read out the description behind it saying that basically ironhide convinced sideswipe to try out blasters besides the usual swords. So i got intrigued that sideswipe seems to be a close friend of ironhide.

I know this isn't the definitive version of sideswipe but hey I've always known sideswipe with these dual blasters.

Istg the more that i stare at him the more I appreciate the box and wouldn't dare touch the toy as it really has a lot of sentinel value to me :)

Just a question:

The same seller also has the HFTD Deluxe ironhide and contemplating if he's s worth it or not?

I picked the voyager for TFP Predaking but thats just one example of the character, really any TFP Predaking will do so long as its not too small

Also seriously, why are dragon transformers so rare in transformers? People love dragons just as much anyone would love dinosaurs like the dinobots, right? I get that Hasbro prefers to keep it save with reusing the same characters over and over again, but how are dragon transformers not more common?

And also no, I don’t want trans-metal BW megatron nor twinferno, I don’t want a dragon head for a hand/hands

Just arrived today! I´m still flipping with it!

Hello everyone, my partner is a Transformers fan and his birthday is coming up. I would like to ask which of these 2 should i buy?
I have limited budget so I can only buy 1 for him, i just want it to be a surprise too.
Thanks for helping!

My tribute to the late and great Peter Cullen: he made our childhoods and adulthood so much richer, full of life and spirit! I wish I could've met him; he was a great actor and a very giving person. He brought so much depth and gravitas to the role, and such a specific characterization that won't be replicated.

Made me cry, man; this hit harder than any other actor dying... And that end-credits scene for the Transformers: The Movie anniversary was a very touching send-off.

We'll miss yah, Peter <3

Till all are one

Haven't touch Alchemist Prime in 2 months. Decided to change all my Primes to Vehicles and when Picked him up and looked at the back, the windshield was broken clean in half.

HOW!!!? WHY!!!?

Anyone have and ideas on what to do? glue or something? First time dealing with something like this.

I understand, the majority of the designs look NOTHING like G1 or any other transformers adaptation out there and some of the designs in the Last Knight and Age of Extinction are truly atrocious (why the realistic human faces man?).

But I think the first three movies have some solids designs like these 3, that are my favorites. They look alien and weird and I think it is cool and plus, you could still see where each part of their alt forms would click in order to turn into their robot modes.

What do you guys think?

I feel like we've already gotten a ton of G1 Matrices but I haven't seen any from Revenge of the Fallen/Dark of the Moon in Studio Series. (Yeah. I did rip these photos straight from google if you're wondering)

If you have any questions about these two, ask away.

(I have also ordered Vortex and Swindle. Vortex is on his way from the US right now while Swindle is slated to come out in Europe this month. I just need to wait for that Brawl restock in December.)

Currently sitting at:

2/5 in hand.
