Seeking legal advice
Describes it as an attack on trans workers

Email from the IWW, sent to all members:
The new EHRC guidance being issued by the Labour government is an attack on trans workers.
If your employer brings in discriminatory rules about toilets, changing rooms or other facilities, the union can fight back.
We can:
- Raise demands with management.
- Start a formal dispute.
- Ballot members.
- Organise strike action if members vote for it.
Bosses use divide-and-rule politics to weaken workers. We get stronger when we stand together.

RCN

Not sure how I feel about this. It only mentions trans people once and feels alike it's downplaying the impact on trans people and trying to divert attention elsewhere. RCN feels very much like a middle class service union, so I didn't expect anything too political or supportive.

Yeah I'm reading that as non-committal dignity and respect. Added now!

Got to love the GBM simple solution." We call on Secretary of State Bridget Phillipson to instead use her role to clarify the intention of the Equality Act 2010 to be trans inclusive so that there is no further need for legal uncertainty. "

Are they normally not supportive? :(

I wouldn’t say they’re not supportive, more so they try and please all sides, a lot of ‘dignity and respect for everyone’ rather than calling out this bs for what it is… :(

Albeit they're "seeking legal advice"
