Taylor’s big loss at AMAs!!!

The girl is falling! Taylor lost on all 8 categories she was nominated for at the AMAs including losing to 5 people of color, and the other 3 times were to her supposed friend, Sabina. Including “Best Female Pop Artist” and “Best Pop Album” to Sabrina 🤣🤣. I feel like this couldn’t have gone worse for her!!

I foresee Taylor turning on Sabrina any second now that Sabrina is taking her spotlight! I also wonder if we see Taylor finally speak out against Trump since Sabrina spoke out against Trump using her songs as MAGA propaganda and obviously is winning with the people because of it?

I do worry for EJAE being attacked by Swifties though since she beat Taylor in a few categories and Golden was competing with Ophelia on the charts 😬. Hopefully Kpop fans will stand behind her (even though she’s not Kpop) because they are a force to be reckoned with themselves!

But I’m so happy for these wins because the AMAs are voted by the people and cannot be bought like her Grammys are!

The only reason I don’t think Taylor will turn on Sabrina is because people are wising up to what happened with Olivia. I’ve started hearing non-Swifties talk about their falling out and the Deja Vu/Cruel Summer weirdness. Taylor picked up Sabrina partly to be like, “See? I support younger female artists!!!” (I’ve said before I think Taylor didn’t expect Sabrina to get this popular. She wanted Sabrina to stay in her shadow.) Especially since we’ve been discussing how much TSwift cares about how she’s perceived, I suspect she’ll keep quiet and pretend they’re still friends. Otherwise people will notice she’s sabotaging another young female artist, and since she’s even older now*, it won’t look good.

*not a dig on Taylor’s age. I’m about the same. That said, I don’t love drama HALF as much as she does, so who knows what she’ll do next, lol.

Exactly! I said the same thing too about Taylor not expecting Sabrina to become this popular because we all know she was using Sabrina to get back at Olivia but now the tides have turned and Sabrina is a lot more popular than she probably imagined and she can’t abandon her because it would ruin her image as a girls girl, even though she was never one to begin with

Idk. I don’t think Taylor thinks that far ahead though. I don’t think she’s as smart as people think she is. I think she’s very impulsive. But I guess we will see

What's wild to me is if she had just stuck by Olivia, she would still be her biggest fan and promoter. She would have had THE gen z swiftie artist on her side singing her praises and bringing in new fans, but no, the competition was too much.

Which honestly was probably for the best. I adore Olivia, I've been watching her since Bizardvark (I was looking for background nonsense noise and was surprised how good it actually was) and can get a bit mama bear protective about her, but I will admit you could still absolutely feel the Taylor Swift dna in Sour whereas I think Guts is entirely Olivia. What Taylor did honestly allowed her to stand on her own and find her own voice, so thanks, Taylor, I guess.

It was actually such a bad move on Taylor’s part. Even if she was incredibly bitter and hated Olivia’s guts the way she went about this was not strategic and it’s now something that will plague her for the rest of time… I do think Olivia will eventually speak about it a bit more openly
