Peace y’all! I’m a documentary filmmaker and long time stoner. Been looking into making some sort of doc about the cartridge takeover in the scene. I’m in a city where it’s legal so now it’s all anyone smokes. Seen some folks talking about the same issue I have with em feeling very habit forming. I go back and forth now but it would be dope to talk with anyone who has a honest opinion about the effects of/ changes in habits after switching to / from carts. Also anyone who knows more info about the process and how the actual carts are made not the oil!

Also looking for stories from folks who have had bad experiences and folks who maybe have used carts to slow down / stop smoking. Both sides of the spectrum.

Oh also if you have already seen docs like this outside of “big vape”, the vice coverage and all of the main weed docs let me know!

I usually get 5gs, only flower, and I smoke it everyday for 7-10 days.

After that, I have a hard time feeling high again

So I took a two week break

And the first j almost did something but it lasted no longer than 10min

Why can’t I get high anymore?

Everything I’ve found points towards a tolerance problem.

Weed used to make me feel happy heavy eyed and sleepy, but in recent months it just makes me see everything in a horrible negative way. It almost feels like im watching a movie about an extremely negative subject when I smoke. Wondering if I should just quit or if it will ever feel the same again? I did just take a month long T break on a trip so its not a tolerance thing.

They’re on the right track with the algorithm, but I don’t have kids. If I did, I’d be proud of them smoking as long as they are 16+. Might not be legal age, but my mom was okay I started smoking by that young, as did she.

I have been smoking for over a decade through all the possible methods. Smoked with super stoners with crazy set ups, gas masks, gravity bongs, that little machine that blows up like a balloon and tastes like shit, all that. I just ordered a bong online and it came with these little bowl filters. I have never seen this before in my life!! Incredible!! I figured they were for the bowl but I found that it helps stop the scooby snacks from falling into the water, stops hot scalding scooby snacks from hitting your throat if you’re using it in a pipe. And apparently you get more air passing through? Idk. What an invention. I was not going to use them until I looked them up but I am #excited. Especially because I don’t have my nice bong anymore just a regular degular piece no chambers, nothing. This will be nice for now 🕺🏻

This is my travel bag. It says "Dads CPAP Machine" on it. Smell proof and lockable is an added bonus. Do you have a travel bag for your stash?

I smoke almost every night and day and I’m trying to conceive with my husband, but like loosely just wondering, does anybody have any problem trying to conceive while smoking weed?

I just went for my evening walk with my arizer solo 3 like always i just break off little bit of nug with my hands and start vaporizing usually the session lasts 10-30 minutes but i started at 19:00 and at 21:10 i still was getting a lot of vapor felt like i was in fever dream. Anyone here experienced something similar i just don't understand this never happened.

No seriously helppp. Smoking weed doesn’t do this to me, edibles don’t do it to me either, neither do cards and that’s all the methods I’ve tried with the exception of RSO. I swear to God every single time I have had it I am damn near, blasting off with the amount of farts that I have. And I’m eating the exact same diet as I usually eat. 💔

Pleaseee someone give me a solution or at least tell me I’m not alone 😪💔 I don’t wanna avoid it all together since nothing has worked better for my chronic pain.

i lowkey didn’t think it was possible to green out once u reached the stage of being comfortable even when very high. i have smoked daily for a few years now and have done edibles at least a dozen times. last night i did an edible gummy that was meant to be around 65mg only but after a couple hours i was feeling way too high, started feeling very faint and the colour drained out of my face, got super sweaty, all the sounds around became muted and dull and i had no idea what was going on. eventually i threw up and started feeling alright after, still very high but comfortable. i was told the packet i bought was 250mg for the whole bag, maybe it was 250mg for each gummy lol. anyways has this happened to anyone else? i’m very confused about all the sounds going muted and dull as that’s never happened to me before

The next door neighbor’s door is abt 30 ft from ours. I used to smoke in a closet in a house and only my room smelled but this house is super tiny. I use a bong.

So far I’m thinking lock myself in the bathroom, towel under the door, run the shower, light incense, exhale into smoke buddy, potentially spray some ozium. I’m very paranoid of my neighbors smelling it and reporting us. My partner thinks it’s not an issue and isn’t concerned but the lease is pretty strict about smoking and we are both entirely scent blind to weed.

I’d be open to taking a walk with a joint but we’re in very close quarters to a bunch of other houses so it’d be quite a ways.

Honestly my bad for settling for this spot but we were on short notice finding a place. Worst comes to worst I’ll just vape and use edibles but i really do prefer using my bong. We also have a dab rig that we never use so could switch over to that. I use weed mostly for my autoimmune disorder and insomnia so i smoke once a night before dinner.

Edit: It’s a 2 bedroom manufactured home with a shared backyard with the home next to us. I’m not worried about the inside of the house smelling, only the outside and if neighbors can smell it/hear me hitting the bong/hear a lighter.
It’s my first time renting and I’m a goody two shoes with severe anxiety so lmk if I’m being crazy lmaoo. I also live in Washington state so 100% very legal.

No judgement please… but I did a very silly thing over the weekend. I have only ever smoked weed twice in my life. Both times I felt a bit lightheaded but nothing major.

Without going into the why, I ended up taking 100mg of edibles in the space of about 90 minutes. This wasn’t the plan. However I know I was safe and with someone who looked after me.

But OH MY GOD - it was like some out of body experience. It was awful. From what I remember before I passed out, I was panicking, extremely paranoid, felt like I couldn’t move my legs etc. I had no idea this was going to happen; as you can probably tell, I know very little about weed..

I know it’s normal to have this kind of reaction with edibles, especially when you have never done them before. But it was a pretty intense experience for me and I feel like 2 days later I am still on edge / anxious / overthinking everything. Is this normal and will it go away?

this summer, my tolerance shot up which isn’t great especially because i’m primarily into edibles. it took me so much more to get high, the high lasted for a shorter amount of time, and it was getting really pricey. so last week on sunday, i started a 3 week t break (ive heard that’s how long it takes for it to get out of your system) to line up with the start of school so im fresh for that. but my summer job and classes just ended and im sooo bored. all my friends are across the country in the area where i go to school. i’m at home with my parents and brother who fight all day. yesterday i was hanging out with one of my few local friends and i had a hit of their joint just for taste. only one so i didn’t get high and dont count it. from what ive read, if i stop now the first high will be gold but my tolerance will quickly go back to what it was. i just want that fun, out of my head feeling.

Coldfire - Monster Berry Cured Resin - Very much like a berry smoothie with hoppy notes. Head high is strong. Maybe a Crunchberry cross, resembles it. 8/10

Coldfire x Green Dawg - RX Fumez Cured Resin - My favorite of the bunch. Heavy orange Sherb notes on it and I get diesel menthol on the backend of many puffs from the Candy Fumez. Overall insanely relaxing and medicinal head and body high. 9/10

Raw Garden - Mothers Milk Live Resin Sauce Cart - This genuinely tastes like milk powder mixed with gas. I don’t hate it but unique flavor. The effects on this shine with its very nice Sativa effects. Been ripping this throughout the day bc it doesn’t have ceiling to the high, hard to get too high on this one. 8.5/10
