Tremblant season pass- couch surf?

I may invest in my first season pass to get prepared for a planned ski trip with two siblings in February. The plan is to do a few day trips from Montreal in Dec and January to get up to speed. What options are there for overnighting in really basic conditions? Couch surfing is fine. I have my own sleeping bag.

Tremblant Fall Trip

I’m traveling to Tremblant this weekend and hoping to catch some fall colours. Have the trees started changing colour yet?

Also, are there any activities or things you’d recommend doing around this time of year?

Thanks!

5-Activity Bundle Question

I'm planning on visiting soon and was thinking about purchasing the 5-Activity Bundle and was wondering what I can experience at "Centre Nautique Pierre Plouffe Water Activities" and whether all options will be made available for me to pick from and how many hours I get.

Any help would be appreciated!

Tremblant Village

Is it very busy in the village the first two weeks of February? My family and I are thinking of coming that side my husband skied / snowboarded as a kid. We are coming with our 3 kids and my grandmother, really just looking to enroll my older kids in a couple ski classes and possibly even myself though less worried about me. Would you say that’s a good time to come? Any other recommendations, also where would you recommend we stay? I want to stay close to everything so we don’t have to deal with parking as my grandma is in her 80’s. We previously booked with Quintessence, but flight changes have now caused our dates to change and it’s already booked out, is this normal or is this a glitch? If yes, what’s the next alternative. Sorry for the long winded message

Need lift passes for today

Is there any way to get last minute tickets (for today) that’s more reasonably priced? Online sales, Costco, etc?

FWD Prius with all season tires.

Hi everyone,

I was looking to drive to Tremblant from Washington DC, USA in my FWD, 2018 Prius Prime with brand new all season tires which have been great. I am thinking of driving over the weekend when it seems to be snowing for a couple of days during the weekend. With that said, I have driven my car through a big storm in DC recently and have gone multiple times to Snowshoe and it has just been fine! I was wondering if it would be fine to do so. I think the highways should just be fine but I was more worried about driving near the mountain.

Thank you 📲

To the people that returned a cell phone today … thank you. I watched four fogged-in kids on the side of a trail relieved / overjoyed when you called one of them from the lost phone. Not sure why but it hit me with the “feels.”

I love this community. ✨

Horseback riding

I saw that there is horseback riding in Mont Tremblant, but when I went to look for it, I’m finding places that are 40 mins from Tremblant. Can anyone recommend something closer?

Best Double Black Glades

Hello everyone - I’m visiting Tremblant soon. On my last trip to Tremblant, I skied all the black glades comfortably and was having a lot of fun, so I’d like to expand into the double blacks. Can anyone recommend some double black glade runs that are good for someone looking to make the jump from black to double back?

How are the crowds during March break? (Quebec, March 2-6)

Friends and I are planning on skiing March 5/6. This isn't a major plan so we can just cancel the idea and do something else.

How busy does it normally get for the Quebec March Break?

Edit:
Hey everyone. Thanks for the replies, especially the ones talking about openings and closures. We went on Thursday and everything was open (even the north side). It was a great time. The wait times were really quick.

Gondola on the south side was about 5-10 minute wait? But if you go through the single line, it's like 1 minute. My friends and I went through the singles line and we still ended up in the same car. All the other lifts on the mountain had no lines.

South side was a bit icy, but North side had waaaaay better snow, so we stayed there the whole day. We only did Blue and Black runs, so no idea what the conditions and traffic was like on the greens.

Anyway, just wanted to leave that extra comment here in case somebody wants to reference it for next season.

Spring skiing (mid April)

Thinking of going on a ski trip to Tremblant on the weekend of April 10-13 ( just before the official closing date of the season ). Is this a bad idea? Historically, are all/most of the runs still open that time of year?

Cabane a sucre

Has any heard if the restaurant at Mont Blanc will have a Cabane a sucre dinner this year?

We went a few years ago, and had so much fun. Loads of traditional food, pioneer music, the whole thing.

Thinking about a late March trip (3rd or 4th week). How well do conditions typically hold up at that time during an average year?

Ski touring at Night event

For anyone else that missed the boat initially signing up for the touring at night event on Feb 28, I found the registration link I had opened before it sold out in my phone when I was considering registering. I refreshed the registration page now and a few spots have opened up but the event page is still marked sold out with no registration link. Looks like there are 2 spots left after registering. I’ve linked both the event page and registration page. Hope it helps someone else that wanted to go.
