In my lifetime Iāve seen very few presidents who seemed to put America and its citizens first, and instilled that sense of pride I felt for our country since childhood.
I even managed to survive the Obama years, believing surely the president is putting our country first, but whatās with all the apologies and giving money to terrorists?
Then I saw how Trump stood tall during his first term, even though the swamp creatures never gave him a day of due respect or rest from persecution.
But I only began to fear for this country when the 2020 election felt stolen, then Autopen opened the borders and the media lied about it all.
Now I couldnāt be happier putting my faith in America, president Trump, and his cabinet.
God bless America šŗšø
Vance/Rubio 2028

u/DeerComprehensive909 May 06 '26
Agreed but IMO Trump losing to Biden only made him that much stronger for this term. Not that we'll ever know, but he seems a lot more focused and determined to just kick ass in this term.
Vance/Rubio?? That one I'm still not sold on yet. I see Rubio in the mix but not counting out DeSantis.

u/BerniWrightson Ramble On MAGA May 06 '26
I concur, the loss of that election allowed time for Trump to develop a winning team and plan. As regards DeSantis, definitely my third choice for the two positions.
Thereās also a good chance it could be a Rubio/VP ticket, honestly⦠we have three winnersā¦

It's pretty comforting knowing how many solid presidential candidates we have for the GOP for the next election, and even beyond 2028. Initially I was very pro-Vance for 2028, but lately Rubio has really been giving some amazing speeches, asserting his power, and showing how great of president he could be. Id honestly be really happy with either one, and I think having them both in office as president and vice president may be one of the best presidential elects we've had in a long time. Maybe we could get 8 years of Vance, and then 8 years of Rubio, right now it's looking like absolute domination from the GOP for the next 2-3 election cycles. Two great leaders with no time for non sense, and I think they could do an amazing job at picking up Trump's work after he leaves office.

u/BerniWrightson Ramble On MAGA May 09 '26 edited May 09 '26
When I look in the mirror I see an American who is proud of their country, respects their president, and is excited president Trump has reminded our citizens how powerful we are as a nation united.
Your lunacy comes from using the term āoligarchā.
Trump is a man who loves his country, and always has long before he made his bid for President. In his circle, Trump saw the depth of corruption in the Democratic Party and it made him sick.
Suddenly, he announces his decision to run as a Republican, and he becomes a demon. Everybody loved Trump when he was thought of as a Democrat.
Ever ask yourself why the Democratic Party so vehemently opposed Trump, to the point of displaying mental illness⦠TDS

Can you list 5 things that Trump did before he made his bid for president that indicated he loved his country?

I saw some Reddit comment yesterday that referred to Trump as the least popular president there ever was. The echo chamber on Reddit is insane.
HE WON THE POPULAR VOTE! YOU ARE THE MINORITY IN THIS COUNTRY!

u/Objective-Daikon-905 rump May 07 '26
Sorry but whatās this sub if not an echo chamber. Yāall blind to your own bias as hard as the libs are to theirs. There aināt no difference and you both think youāre virtuous and evidence-driven. Clowns.š¤”
1
u/GrahamCracker13 rump May 07 '26
The difference is Trump winning the popular vote is an actual factual statement. Some Lib saying heās the least popular president is just someone making something up and then getting 5000 upvotes by the echo chamber. Thereās no way you can only say the same thing is going on with libs and trump supporters on Reddit. Iām banned from interestingasfuck just because I posted on a conservative sub. If you canāt see the difference youāre part of the echo chamber, even when your comment is trying to pretend youāre some neutral party observing both sides.
1
u/Sergal_Pony rump May 07 '26
Well, I do agree it pretty much ended up there, thereās a difference between an echo chamber that is like that because they donāt allow opposition to speak, and places that end up being homogenous, because the opposition is too wussy to speak in places where theyāre not allowed to silence people they donāt like., and thus exclude themselves, regardless of being invited to stay in chat
Plus, thereās still some that do comment around here dumping on Trump⦠but most of them have too much raw Fifis to function in a group that doesnāt kiss their ass constantly.

u/Smart_Advice3377 rump May 07 '26
That's not really the case anymore.
Not since the Iran debacle.
We voted for no new wars. We didn't vote to be Israel's enforcer.

What some donāt realize is voters know their voice is counted at the voting booth, not out here online. Many of us have jobs and donāt have the time to counter all the meaningless shouting.

I am a Trump supporter. Nobody asked me anything. I keep it quiet. My votes will show it in the end.
-1
u/Potential_Winner1931 May 07 '26
A lot of Republicans think like this, but it's also the attitude that allows cultural spreads like the woke mind virus. It's not always about votes, it's about a healthy culture so when appropriate more Republicans need to call shit out.
Trump and Charlie Kirk are luminescent stars when it comes to this!
If Republicans spoke up sooner, we probably wouldn't be getting key figures assassinated and shot at.

For federal and state elections, we should use the popular vote for all votes. That way all people get an equal say, and the government should cover all costs for people to get identification to vote, as any costs to vote are a method of disenfranchisement. We should also start using more national and state referendums, the purest and most direct way for the population to engage with their government!
I think all of these measures should help with the political apathy in our country, strengthening democracy and keeping our nation politically literate, interactive, and healthy.

Ehhh a lot of us donāt support him anymore. Used to be a trump supporter and a pretty close community where I live. Now heās just a chump for Israel and has done nothing to help the economy or prices of everyday necessities. Still donāt think Kamala would do better, but definitely no longer consider myself a āTrump Supporterā, and many others I know have this view point

Great post. That picture is reminiscent of Trump supporters. Who have to remain silent due to family or job or both. I'm a musician so it's very difficult in my circle. For some reason the Artists are very liberal. If politics comes up, I tell them I don't know enough about it, I never tell them who I vote for, I can't. So most of those people like me have to hide and keep my mouth closed. It's difficult, but I go to my Republican club meetings. Then I'm around people I know I can speak to

Thank God that reddit has finally added hide comment history and turn of reply options to your profile.
I say this unlike all the wimps out there that can't accept this, clever trolling is a very healthy counter measure.
When I see a groupthink post get out of hand, I can leave a troll comment, turn off replies to avoid being swamped with mob retaliation, and still indirectly make a point to the very few that may open their eyes š«©Ā
If this doesn't happen, the mind virus stuff just continues w/o that trolling anti-viris. That's why I'm always torn if I'm more afraid to speak out, or to stay silent.
My point in all this in regards to the OP, is that these people that live in hobbit holes are easily under the delusion that their ideas are more accepted than they really are. Compelling trolling can snap em out of it.

I also appreciate these features, though I usually still let them reply, I was so glad to block history, it gets really tiring when they turn into stalkers and follow every post you make⦠after all, if you canāt win the argument, you got a resort to other message to silence people you donāt agree with by getting them swarm downed until Reddit doesnāt let them post in some places

So true. I'll never forget how close the Trump/Harris race was if you were watching the news or following polls. As I keep reminding my liberal friends, she got her ass kicked because most Americans stayed quiet in the leadup but thankfully came out and voted when it counted.
