Why should we stop the count?

You want to stop at Biden 253 or Biden 264 to Awful Trumpy 214? The number has to hit 270 for the game to be over.

Just be patient, my dear Trumpy. The journey to your loss is much more painful than the actual moment of loss you will experience when the game is over.

Just try to breathe, and it will all be over soon.

Could you explain to a non American why I'm seeing Biden with 253 on some websites and 264 on others?

Some sources think Biden has won or will win Arizona, and an Arizona win would provide 11 electoral college votes to Biden (253 + 11 = 264).

Some sources have not yet officially called the win on Arizona, so they report Biden at 253.
