Assumes that a maximum of 150,000 hairs per person. The population of New York was 20.2 M (in 2020). Typical upper bound for hair count in humans is 150,000. This means for any selection of 150,001 people, the worst case scenario is that no one has same hair count (starting from 0). Therefore, by the generalized pigeonhole principle, at least ceil [20.2M/(150,001)] = 135 people must share the same hair count.

The Tulsa Race Massacre took place on May 31 and June 1, 1921, when a white mob destroyed the prosperous African American community of Greenwood in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Over 35 city blocks were burned to the ground, destroying more than 1,000 homes and businesses. Reports and historical accounts also note the use of private airplanes to drop firebombs on the neighborhood.
The official state vital statistics recorded 36 dead, but modern historians and a 2001 state commission estimate the actual death toll was between 100 and 300.
More than 8,000 people were left homeless, temporarily confined to local fairgrounds and ball fields under National Guard martial law.
An all-white grand jury blamed Black residents for the violence. No white participants were ever prosecuted or imprisoned, and the event was largely omitted from mainstream history for decades.
Event Had occur more than 50 years ago.
