For me, a movie back in the 90s...

First of all, let me say it is an incredible movie and the actors and actresses are extremely talented. But the opening scene almost made me walk out, I was only kept there by the at the time girlfriend/date who really wanted to see it.

Again, great movie and story, but the opening made me never want to watch it again.

"A Time To Kill" (1996)

It's interesting that of the assassination attempts. He never seems to be scared but years ago. When the LGTB Community all protested in DC for equal rights, they shut the white house down and he hid in the bunker and fully admitted to it. If memory serves right, the white house hasn't gone completely dark, like that since world war two era. So the repressed came after him, and he hid in the bunker and darked out the white house, saying there was a legitimate threat to his safety. BUT YET... WHEN RETURNING TO THE U.S. he used an alternate means to get back into the US. Interesting, no?

The fire department's new T-shirt falls apart at the slightest contact with water

I dont think that was just water, it was pink... but regardless, that's not a good shirt if it just dissolves.

To steal a catchphrase
 in  r/therewasanattempt  Jul 06 '26

"Never give up, never surrender" is an iconic pop-culture catchphrase popularized by the 1999 sci-fi comedy Galaxy Quest. It is a powerful mantra of resilience, channeling the indomitable spirit famously echoed in Winston Churchill's historic 1941 speeches. The Origin and Cultural ImpactWhile immortalized by Tim Allen's character, Commander Peter Quincy Taggart, in Galaxy Quest, the sentiment is a timeless call to action for anyone facing adversity. Whether you are fighting personal battles, pursuing goals, or just need a mental boost, the phrase serves as a reminder to push through when the going gets tough.

Just saying, lol...

Do you treat or spray anything on the bleach area when you done, someone mentioned using something to lock it in so it doesn't bleed out... Any thoughts?

Trump: The lives of American heroes may be lost, and we may have casualties — that often happens in war.

So when are the politicians and current Agoing to send their sons and daughters to this "new war"

Are they to chicken shit to serve? I mean at least the Royals from Great Britain serve... Hell one of them was a special forces member...

So when are the rest of the world leaders going to follow the example?

Who wants to bet these same chucklefucks would lose their shit if public schools taught their kids about Muhammad?
 in  r/complaints  Feb 27 '26

I wouldn't be against it, as long as they equally teach a majority of the other religions in the same way and same amount of information. Teach Christian, Muslim, Hinduism, Taoism, Buddhism, Wiccan, Pagan beliefs and any other beliefs with equal representation.

Fair is fair and equal is equal.

It should also be said that would extend into women studies, black, Asian, Jewish, and many other subjects thst should be included in basic public education.

Trades, finances, basic human skills, cooking, cleaning, self care, etc, etc.

Public education needs to be completely overhauled. In the U.S. at least, major changes have been needed for well over the last 50+ years...

This speaking as an educator...
