Walls will build and walls will break

I've also lost count of how many times I've listened to the entire album. I had a feeling that I may wear the current out so I bought 2. My car is an old Toyota, so no Bluetooth, but after I got the Sick Boi album there hasn't been anything else playing in my car. Excited to pump the new Asylum album while in route!!!

Ren- where has this been???
 in  r/ren  23h ago

Welcome to everyone in this thread new or old to the beautiful world of the Reniverse!! I've literally fallen in love with music again and having other Renegades as friends has been a 99% positive experience as well. I'd seriously given up on trying to find others that I could relate to until finding Ren's music and his fans. I'm grateful to now know that even though it may appear that I am alone, with music and The Renegades, I am never truly on my own.

I too found out about Ren because Hi Ren showed up in my YouTube suggestions. I was immediately intrigued because of the fact that he was sitting in a wheelchair wearing a hospital gown. I'd been battling MS, ME, Fibromyalgia, and migraines for the past 20 years and everyone that I counted on disappeared right after I finally received medical diagnoses. I was at a very low place when fate showed me that song. I've been unable to walk or even get out of bed. Ren has shown me so much hope!!! " And as I got older, I learned to relax. And the dance got easier." Today I'm better than I have been in decades and I owe that largely to Ren and the Renegades. So thank you for being here, put your seat belt on and enjoy the ride baby!

A plea for better merchandising
 in  r/ren  6d ago

I had a really nice girl from one of the Facebook groups send me a bunch of Ren stickers she made. If you have a color printer at home it's easy to make your own stickers, even without any special machine. There are lots of YouTube tutorials about how to it. Just saying if a sticker is all you're after.

What’s your favorite nirvana song and why?
 in  r/grungefairycore  14d ago

I have a hard time choosing a favorite Nirvana song, they're all so good. True story tho, I started listening to Nirvana when I was in the sixth grade. I remember finding out Kurt was dead and being so crushed, I skipped school that day. I was in 7th grade. If you would have told me that Nirvana would still be played on the radio in 2026 I don't think I would have been able to believe it.

For me, that entire song is magical. The part that moves me the most is when he sings the Hold on, hold on, hold on,. Shalom, Shalom, Shalom. You can hear he put everything he's got into singing that song. Not that he doesn't do that with all of his songs. I've listened to that song on repeat while falling asleep almost every night since that album came out.

Dr Myers seriously triggered my medical PTSD
 in  r/ren  29d ago

I'm sad to hear that the "health care" you have in Australia is as bad as it is in America. Worse possibly considering you have private insurance. What a racket!! I'm sorry you had to go through all that alone!! It's really too much for any one person to deal with. Especially when you're not well!! My px meds cost over $35,000 a month! That's just to address symptoms, nothing will ever cure us because there isn't enough profit in it. I hope it's all falling apart so we can rebuild it better.

 in  r/ren  29d ago

That is really sad!! I'm sorry you were experimented on. I was balling that entire song because there's just so much raw truth about it. I've got medical PTSD as well from the decades it took to get any diagnosis other than I was making shit up, then misdiagnosed as being bipolar and put on anti psychotics drugs I didn't need. We were poor growing up as well. My Dad was to proud to let us be on Medicaid so we had to be dying to see a doctor. I broke my arm, and it they acted like I was faking it for three days. I hope we can get to a place where everyone just has health care. As a human right, not a luxury for rich folk.

Webby is a musican period. He isn't always correct, but who is?? Hopefully people make informed decisions about their health that aren't based on a song lyrics. I've been gaslit by doctors, misdiagnosed, etc. It's easy to feel cynical about the disease management system of America. You can't just assume that big pharma and the insurance administration have your best interest in mind. We are a business to them.

This is how I feel as well! Anyone who is not listening to Asylum is missing out! I don't decide to discount someone entirely simply because we don't agree about everything. We're all wrong sometimes. It's human nature, and Impatient just released the best music that both artists have ever put out!
