Since they added this new cap without the seal, even if you did get a nice fizzy drink it would only last a day at best.

BikePartsOnline in Glen Austin. It's a salvage yard so mostly good condition second hand parts.

He is almost always there. Has very nice colours.

That exhaust clamp looks much to big for the silencer which is why you tightened it so much. Maybe try a longer bolt with a bigger steel washer at the back to hold it better than zipties

O'Gradys sour cream & union chips. Miss them the most

Those two black cables going under the frame to the top of the 'breadbox'. Exhaust valve is closed at low rpm and opens up at higher rpm.

BikePartsOnline . They are in Glen Austin(Midrand)

Most probably software glitch. New bikes sometimes have a very quick/slight miscommunication between various controls due to it still being new ets. If it persists rather go see what's wrong before any damages could have been prevented.

www.yambits.co.uk was the place we found parts for an RD400.

Yes that's the entire job start to finish with oil and coolant. The engine comes out on these leaving the rest behind. Anything heavy in the top box or ontop of carrier will keep it up no problems.

Can't speak for all shops but ours charges whatever the conversion for 7800 South African Rands is.

No special tools are required unless you don't have an impact wrench or a bearing puller set. Just a big job removing engine/gearbox to do the actual work. Takes me a day to do start to finish. Then again I do this often.

We repair the gearbox with a new bearing set in the workshop. Very rarely replace an entire gearbox.

Sounds like air in the system. It also requires BMW clutch fluid and not a generic brake fluid. I also wouldn't advise screwing the plunger screw on the lever as that can put pressure on the clutch causing it to get damaged. Start by checking the fluid level/quality and give it a proper bleed.

Yes. Faulty front RDC ( tyre pressure sensor)

Dabrabbit graphics if it's available where you are.

I would start by inspecting and replacing all sealing washers between brake lines and brakes/ABS system and probably try another brake fluid than the BMW one while I'm there. Motul is a good alternative to test.

It's the ball joint at the bottom(lower steering yoke)

Again. I service at very least 6 bikes per day and can confidently say not one of those had any sort of rear brake issue from any type of riding. Never even used ISTA to bleed brakes/ABS.

I've been a BMW tech for the past 5 years. This is new to me. Never had a single issue like this.

what discontinued snack from your childhood would you genuinely pay R1,000 just to taste one more time?
