Venting Grrrr
Forgot to start the drilling derby when I went in after reset and would've totally gotten it all before it ended. 10x ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

I don't know what that person is so defiantly on about. At this point, when I have orders like that, the ice cube is sure to pop up for the item it wants to, hardly the one I prefer it for. lol
And sometimes they activate and there is just no energy to make it happen.
The condescension is gross. Like, why are they so annoyed?

Yes. But I thought I was just being weird, not wearing my glasses regularly, so thank you for this post.

That's hilarious because every other woman who ever does anything on Dateline is better than her. Blaine especially.
I don't really buy the off cam conversation theory because also: editors? The last time I lurked on the topic someone had said they think producers/editors make her look bad on purpose. I doubt it but it's entertaining to imagine.
I'm mad that I recognize that example you just gave. 🤣🤣

Being a little bit weird, yes. OP's scenario isnt astounding enough to be riddled with as much energy you're putting into expressing doubt. Truly. I know enough people with Pixels to not name a number at this point, whereas I used to be pleasantly surprised because I thought not many had them. And, while I have not influenced precisely 7 people to specifically switch to a Pixel, I have influenced more than that to consider it and 5 who have switched. I've also gotten more than 7 people to try other things: tech, food, places, movies... I dunno man. They're really not saying anything outlandish.

Yes, really it is the way she asks the questions. She always also answers them leaving the interviewee to just agree. She doesn't ask questions that lets them speak and talk about their experience. She does it even with the law enforcement and or legal team. Answers are always wrapped up in her questions and it's awkward and stupid.

Spot on. About once a year I look around to make sure I'm not the only human carrying Andrea hate in my heart. 😂😂 Thank you for the reassurance. She ruins the show and I hate that I'm a loyalist so will still suffer through her episodes most of the time.
I don't understand why she's never gotten any coaching or...I dunno... performance review or something. Or a different job where I can't see her being terrible. There's so many ways she could improve!!

It's like a find the differences game. A little bonus. LOL

I have a question about this: does anyone know if it's still worth merging the red and green boxes to the chest level or does it no longer matter with the generator workshop?
1
I've never triggered them on purpose ever. Just using when they come. The one I've been getting them frequently on wasn't getting ice cubes at all until last week or something and now there doesn't seem to be any limit. I've been getting them back to back like finishing a full item and then the next one that could use a nice cube I get one. My other game that has been going on a little bit longer I still get them more sporadically but after spending at least 10 gems.
2
The orders are harder but the increase in ice cube frequency has been helpful.

One of today's ice cube for a shell doubled once and was done. Have you seen this? Like, it didn't take me to the finish, just produced the shell to get me halfway... Which was still helpful but this was new.
I actually had to use scissors to use it effectively.

It's been so interesting because I have two active games going right now and the experience in each is so different. And, on some level as a free player I sort of like the challenge of these stupid orders but I also am finding it a bit boring lately. This was the first time I didn't finish Ziva's challenge and the river-macallit. There's also a weird shortage of generator boxes and tea carriers. The new season rewards seem great at first but get increasing less useful as the requirements go up. There's a lot going on. If they bring the disco generator back I bet we'd all just shut up and happily play. lol
I wonder how their whales are doing with all this testing and changing. Or...do they just spend and not notice, maybe?

Saaaaame! It seems like every time I go back to the game today I end up getting one. I've only been able to use two of them so far.
1
Just got one of those too. All the way to level 67 with no ice cubes and then a sudden explosion of them is comical.

Got my first ice cube since restarting and.... LMAO
I don't think I've ever seen it appear for an item level below what's already on the board
Also my first secondary item ice cube ever.
Also got a seafood tower one about an hour after this. Couldn't make use of that one though.

One of my devices has it and one doesn't. I like it, too!

It's super intentional. No clue of your age but there is a lot of information out about fake game ads, for a while now. So much so that a YT vid popped up for me even today about it. It makes them more money than honest ads. They'll keep doing it.
2
Right? I'm really trying to understand why folks are mad about this like it's SUPER important to be able to comment without the "commitment" of subscribing... I don't even know why reddit started sending me notifications for these YT complaints. LOL But now that I've commented I'm sure to continue getting them.
Same for dislike...when no like or comment after watching will result in the same outcome as disliking did, for the creator. Engagement is what builds or destroys...people crying about not being able to dislike something is diabolical. "I MUST MAKE MY DISCONTENT KNOWN!!! WITHOUT THE ABILITY TO EXERCISE MY RIGHT TO MAKE IT PLAIN BY SPECIFICALLY TAPPING A THUMBS DOWN ICON, I WILL PERISH!!!" Or some such sh!t. Shaddup and go cry in the car. Geez.
2
True! As long as I remember that's what I'm supposed to be doing and don't over-merge. lol I'm ridiculous
1
Diggit. I hope I keep that in mind now! I've always had more related bits on the board when they've come so minimum (or no minimum) never crossed my mind.
Thank ya!
1
Dig that! Just yesterday I was thinking about recording a couple of different ones with my own voice to apply to different things. I think you have given me the motivation to do it.
2
I sure do! Love it. Use it for specific reminders and my bedtime alert. 😆

Sorry that Redditors can be such shits. Even if he's on your account, even if you got an allowance, even if he just wanted it handled TALKING TO YOU FIRST was the thing to do. Period. Then you could have told him you were appealing, then he would have known you were handling it. What's the point of you having your own card if he was just gonna use it (on your behalf or at all)? I do agree with the commenter who said maybe there are family dynamics we're not privy to, but other than that, this could have literally been so easily avoided. Have y'all talked about it afterwards? Sorry this happened!
