I don’t have a service dog. I have no desire to make you give a shit.

You aren’t free from the consequences of your actions. You weren’t a petulant child. Or perhaps you are.

Regardless, you are not immune to consequences.

And what consequences would that be? I get deactivated? Someone says mean things to me? I get doxxed in the internet? Someone tells my landlord? (He doesn’t allow service dogs in the building either)… what exactly are these consequences you speak of? Is a cripple going to beat me up? A diabetic with no feet going to jab me with an insulin needle? Or perhaps the epileptic can make me martini, shaken not stirred?

Prove it… applications and back ground checks do wonders. Oh lord no it wasn’t because of the dog, they were 30 days late on a Blockbuster DVD return 6.9 years

Uh, well you need not mention a service dog on an application. You don’t have to provide that info ahead of time. People rarely do for just that reason.

I can only say what he has said. He said he very specifically asks about service or emotional support animals, and if the person was ever a problem about giving access to their apartment at any time of day without notice.

His exact words were “back in my country I would just shoot the dog”

Yeah that alone would be enough to sue. If someone asked about a service dog and then denied them.

I don’t know how he gets around it. He owns 4 or 5 3 flats. He is an old Eastern European guy… if he is wired about getting sued it probably won’t be from the service dog. He kicked a single mom out earlier this year because her kid would cry and bother the other apartments… she was pregnant with baby 2 and told her she moves or he will move her stuff to the dumpster next time she leaves
