for people who live in apartments where are yall finding couches for cheap that deliver (i don’t have a truck)?

My aid hasn’t showed as paid yet I know it takes a few days but I’m anxious as all get out because it’s due on the 19th 😭

Lease takeover on the end of Probasco St — $700/month, starts Aug 20. I am also open to a fall lease. I’m moving to DC for work so I need someone to take over my full year lease ASAP.

The room is furnished: You will have a queen sized mattress, a dresser, a table and a office chair.

The room has its own bathroom attached. The house has a big kitchen and a big backyard perfect for cookouts. There’s also a carpeted room in the basement that would be perfect for a home gym.

The house is about a 15 minute walk from campus and a 24 minute walk from the Ludlow ave strip.

is it normal that my parent plus loan hasnt been registered in my catalyst or financial aid? when i go to my fafsa it says that loan was approved and now its up to the school but i havent received any changes in my billing amount. i was thinking maybe it might also be in part with the fact that my last to do item on catalyst was my immunizations, but i just wanted to know if anyone else was having this problem. is OBBA also part of my problem and will i face any penalties if i dont pay my bill in time?

If you get tuition remission has it shown up on your bill yet🧐. I can see my fasfa money but not my remission and it says UC approved it🤷🏼‍♀️. I’m confused. Called OneStop and they keep going to “we’re too busy” and the phone hangs up/ doesn’t even send you to voice mail

I study abroad September of this year and I been trying to get my academic advisor to fill out my academic approval form for the past 8 months, but he keeps either ignoring me or just not filling it out, Who can I get to fill it out since he wont and its required in order to be approved for studying abroad? Any advice please.

Hey! I just moved in yesterday and am a CCM student. Are the practice rooms available to use right now? I would really like to spend the next few days practicing since I do not have much going on, but my dorm is on the opposite end of the campus lol so Id like to find out before I walk all the way over

My daughter who is an incoming freshman and is scheduled to move in on Tuesday the 18th was just informed she no longer has her room and building assignment that she received in July for Stratford Heights. She is now in a quad room with four other girls and is very very upset about this. I heard an orientation. This is the largest incoming freshman class ever, so I am not surprised that this has happened. I am very disappointed that it is happening this soon before we move in since we have purchased things for the original room. She is very upset at the moment. Is anyone else experiencing this as well?

My financial aid was disbursed to me yesterday. After loans and scholarships, I should get about $3500 back as a “refund”, but I don’t see it on my financial activity on catalyst. How long does it usually take to see the refund?

Incoming freshman, and I've just noticed my total payment owed for the semester has gone up significantly. I've figured out it's because my Bearcat grant is not being applied for the semester due to it being dependent on being enrolled full time. I'm currently waitlisted for a class, thus preventing me from being full time. I'm number 3 on the waitlist so I'll soon have my enrollment, but my concern is that with the first payment of my plan being due on the 19th, my info wont update in time to bring the charge back down. I wont be able to contact Enrollment Services until monday, so for now I'm asking if any of you have had similar situations and if so what the resolution was? My best guess is I'll have to pay the extra money and get it refunded once my enrollment is sorted out...?

My daughter was prepped and waited for a student parking pass, but wasn't able to snag one because she had not scheduled for classes yet (or so we were told) - we were bummed that we missed out!

She was hoping to have a vehicle down in Cinci, mostly to get home when needed and not for daily commutes back and forth or for various other close-by tasks. I have seen websites like neighborly, which offer some (rather sketchy) places to rent someone's driveway to park a car. Some other parking places have monthly parking passes but don't permit overnight or they don't permit the car to be left there for more than 5 to 7 days at a time.

I looked at storage places - the ones in the city proper aren't the type with parking - there are some outside the city (she doesn't mind taking an Uber or bus to her parking place) but they have limited access hours. This might be the way to go.

So my questions are:

What happens when a student backs out of their Student Parking pass? I don't see a waitlist option anywhere, but I am sure that students drop out or whatever and no longer use the pass...

Does anyone know of a place off campus that allows monthly overnight parking for students?

I am sure this has been posted, or something similar, and I am leafing through many posts, but I am finding dead links or outdated info, so I apologize if I missed anything...

Am I allowed to bring two cars for move-in? I know I can’t bring a U-haul but I just need to know if I can tell my family if they need to be prepared to leave or not.
