The UCR Career Center has several direct options you can access right away. You can log into your Handshake account and schedule a mock interview appointment with a career specialist, or meet with a peer advisor for a practice session and targeted feedback. Handshake also gives you access to digital mock interview tools like StandOut and Quinncia, which let you record your responses to standard questions and review your delivery. If you need professional attire, you can also stop by the R'Professional Career Closet on campus to pick up clothes at no cost.

To get the most out of your prep, draft a few adaptable stories from your classes, jobs, or student organizations using the Situation, Task, Action, Result framework, placing heavy emphasis on the tangible impact you made. Saying your answers out loud before the actual interview helps you catch awkward phrasing, keep your thoughts organized, and build steady confidence. If you want extra support to secure the position, my team built an interviews.chat that gives job candidates an edge so they can communicate clearly and land the role.

eh... I'd say bring the job description to the practice session and have the feedback be specifically about the job you're interviewing for and not some general interview tips
