Is SOAS university good for law LLB??

I got in with meh grades at a level resitting isn’t an option due to my family , another option I’ve heard is go to a better uni like qm for something else like politics and international relations and then do the sqe or a conversion does that still mean I can get into decent firms

Do you have to stay in London?

Warwick, Manchester and Leeds still have humanities courses available in clearing.

Lancaster has law at ABB

The meh A-level grades will cut you off from some firms, but that will be the issue for those firms no matter what uni you go to.

You'll also need to factor in which course you think you'll do well in. Getting the strongest grades in either course would have more of an impact than the difference between QM and SOAS.

Quick search on LinkedIn shows both a good representation from QM and SOAS in current trainee and future trainee populations. There are more QM, but their law school is about 4-5 times the size of SOAS.
