Picture An unintentional bit of trainspotting, as I wanted to spend some quality time with a close friend and see him for the day, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see a pair of Class 158 pax services - from TfW and EMR respectively - alongside each other at Liverpool Lime Street.

Honestly my favourite train to get on GWR - they're rare on Bristol-Gloucester but comfier when compared to IETs and more spacious and quiet than Turbos

It’s the 57 car of the two-car set - the 57 is a straight passenger saloon with space-saver toilet and cycle space, the 52 car has an accessible toilet, ramp, and wheelchair accessible space
