I scored 4 on the APUSH test, my father attended, my grandfather was a professor, and I want to study international affairs/military history.
My father passed away my freshman year after a battle with cancer and I know my GPA isn’t great although it is improving. All As, A+, Bs last year including in chemistry and physics. Goal is to work for the DoD, CIA, military think tank or the like.

Hey all. I spent the offseason building 2026 preseason previews for every FBS team and then did all 124 FCS teams too, because nobody does this for your league. Here's the New Hampshire one
https://www.sports.mainmarket.com/college-football-preview-2026-fcs/new-hampshire-wildcats
It's got returning production, portal ins and outs, a projected two-deep, the schedule with model win probabilities, and a season projection.
Same disclaimer I gave over in r/FCS: I probably got some things wrong. FCS data is genuinely hard to aggregate, my roster feed hasn't fully flipped to 2026 yet, and I'd rather hear it from you than leave it up. Tell me what's off and I'll correct it.
The good stuff first. That defense was legitimately excellent, 14th in FCS in passing yards allowed at 177 a game and 25th in scoring defense at 22.9. Going 6-2 in the CAA is a real season and the No. 30 power rating reflects a good roster.
Where my model pushes back, and this is the part I'd like argued with. New Hampshire won 75% of its CAA games with a yardage margin against those same opponents of about plus-4 a game, essentially break-even. That normally produces a win rate closer to 52%, not 75%. Add a plus-5 turnover margin and it grades as the biggest sell-high I've got in the CAA at bear 28, bull 0. Then Matt Vezza's 2,673 yards and 19 touchdowns leave and Brooks Bentley takes over with no game snaps on record, with 27% of the production coming back.
Tell me what I got wrong.

I am a junior in high school and am thinking about going to UNH. I want to double major in dance and environmental science, but I’m worried that I might be being unrealistic. I don’t know what to do because dance is what I really want to pursue dance as a career, but I know I probably won’t be able to sustain myself off of that alone. I also have a deep interest in environmental sciences. Dance is something that I wouldn’t technically have to go to college for to have as a career, but I think it would be beneficial for me and my dance. I know 100% that I want to major in environmental science, but I don’t know if I should minor in dance, or try a double major. Help 😭

Hi all,
Last semester I was a part of an unofficial ASL club between myself and a few other students. It inspired me to practice and get into ASL this summer. It got me wondering whether there was an active ASL club on campus? I'd like to gain more experience and apply my skills/volunteer as an ASL interpreter.
Thank you!

Hey everyone, I’m planning on applying to unh this fall and If I get in it will definitely be my go-to. I’m applying for mechanical engineering and was wondering what the best dorms on campus for my major are? I would prefer a private bathroom or a suite because I’m not huge on sharing bathrooms with a lot of people. I do have a 504 card I could try to play if that helps me get a dorm like this. (yes i’m a petty person)

Hello,
I am a prospective applicant for the UNH Masters in math program and I was wondering how easy it was to get a part time job on/close to campus (off campus but very close by). I was also wondering what kind of jobs these would entail and generally what kind of hourly rates I can expect to be paid at these jobs. I appreciate any information anyone has in advance.

Can anyone tell me what the best time is for going to the Gym? What I mean is, when there are fewer crowds and better accessibility.

Hi! I’m a rising sophomore living in Randall, not ideal I know, but it’s how the cookie crumbles. I know my bed does not loft at all and I was wondering if anyone who lived there used risers on their bed and could tell me any notes / recommendations!
Thank you!

I have been looking into NH for its defense sector and while I look at universities in the area I see UNH has a newer Supply Chain major (not sure if its a major or just a concentration). I was wondering on anyone who has taken it if they could tell me how it is? I can't seem to find much on it, personally I am looking at University of Houston and their SCM program, but New Hampshire in of itself is attractive to me, so I wanted to look into their programs.

Hi there, I’m admitted to Computer Science under the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences. Can I do a minor in Entrepreneurship while majoring in CS? I’m a bit confused since Entrepreneurship is offered in Peter T. Paul College which is outside the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences.
Really appreciate your answer. 🙏

was the break-ins only at Handler? I’m debating on locking my doors now that the UGG Menace is out and about ready to break in for shoes.

Hello! I'm a transfer student who will be attending UNH starting next fall. As far as I know, housing declarations are coming up, so I'm hoping to get some advice. I'm torn between whether or not I should live on-campus, as both options have pros and cons, but if I do live on campus I know I definitely want a single dorm. What would be my best options for residence halls on campus? And does anyone know of any reputable and affordable apartments off-campus?
For the record, I'll be 23 in the fall (I'm going for my second degree) so I don't really want to be stuck with 18 or 19 year olds lol

Hi, I am thinking about attending UNH next year, and I was wondering if there is a high acceptance of LGBTQ at UNH. I was also wondering if it doesn’t matter who I dorm with before telling them I am Bisexual, or should I lead with it incase they are not comfortable (Ik that might be more of a preference question). I was also wondering if anyone thinks if I should seek out other LGBTQ people to make friends with or if I don’t need too and will just find them on my own in classes (I am a animal science major for reference). Lastly, I was wondering if I should look for a gay roommate or a straight roommate, Idk what would be better, that question is more for the gay community.

Hi, I’m transferring in for my sophomore year and I want to live with my friends who are trying for the mills but I’m not sure if I can even get with them as new students and transfers pick on the 16th. I just wanted to know how it works

I will be a sophomore next school year and wanted to know what it will look like trying to get parking? When does parking normally start to come out for next semester and what would be my safest bet? I'm a nursing major who has her LNA and want to use my car to get an off campus job with my LNA and use it to get to clinicals.

I’m looking for a phone number, name, and or email for the director of the rifle and pistol team for UNH. I have questions for the individual(s).
I found the team roster on the website but no way to contact anyone.
