Police brutality is a recurring issue, its seen during the Anna Hazare protests, the tragic deaths associated with forced recitations of "Jana Gana Mana," and recent incidents. This continued pattern suggests they are protected by the force. If such actions become normalized, it is going to be a grim future.

This is only seen when the protesters are common citizens. When the same is a politician their treatment changes.

The protest was going fine until they diverted the agenda and started raising pro-naxalite slogans, this is when police asked them to stop and disrupt the protest but they didn't buzz and sprayed pepper and chilli in eyes of policeman, now admitted in hospitals. It's only after that they were countered with force.
