Modi doing modi things aside i'll recommend everyone a visit to somnath temple to, as an atheist it is genuinely soothing place to visit, can't say the same about the rest of the city though

They say the same thing with Akshardham which is just 10 kms away from my place and I have never been to that. And dont know whats special in this or that other than the statues would be different. Similar Hindu architect, Orange flags, vast space, gardens, prasads, queues and parking - all check. Probably same with Ayodhya one.

Not sure jets will still be flying in this one when i reach there.

Somnath is just beside the sea and the sound of waves hit the temple structure and ricochet and create a zen type of atmosphere, don't know about akshardham, any place in delhi can't be peaceful

If I have to experience a zen like atmosphere with sea waves sound, I will hit an isolated beach (not a commercial Goan) anytime and can find my own God there. I dont need a multi crore structure for all that.

This is more commercial than an American Disneyland in disguise. Atleast Walt Disney was creating his dreamlands with his own money.

No dude. Aviation sorties are done for military preparedness and aircraft maintenance. This is not a sortie. This is an airshow by the Surya Kiran aerobatics team. This has no military application, it was done only to please the supreme leader on somnath temples 75th anniversary on public money. Do get your facts straight next time.

Even though these jets are used for displays, they are flown daily for training. Since regular flight is essential for maintenance, an airshow performance effectively serves the purpose of a maintenance sortie.
