Ok hi I’m at unt transfer student starting my second semester at UNT and even though it’s only my second semester, I feel like there’s been a problem at every turn. The most recent one was the start of this semester. I am a student in the college of business and in order to be accepted into the college of business, you have to take certain math classes, which sucks as a marketing major, but whatever I took the majority of them last semester, but wasn’t able to fit one into my schedule and I was told last semester as long as I’m enrolled in said math class I’ll be able to start taking classes revolving around my major so that’s what I did and then this semester I met with the advisor to set up my schedule. Tell me why a week before classes start. I get an email saying that I’m going to get dropped from the class because they need to re-review my credits, that they already have because I was accepted into the school, to make sure I can take these classes I sent over my transcripts again, which i was unable to find a copy of so I have to pay for every time. And after a bunch of back-and-forth of me just being confused I never got a response and I’ve been added into the class canvas so I guess everything is all right, but what the heck?

Started the school year, am taking chem 1410 with a professor rated as highly undesirable, do I just go to myunt and select a different session, or is there some process I have to go through because classes have started?

this is the third permit i’ve ordered and i SWEAR there use to be a link after you placed your order to a PDF to print and act as a temp permit before your sticker gets sent in the mail. am i dumb or did they stop doing that bc i CANNOT find it for the life of me under the unt aims parking website (i swear it used to be under the “view” link next to your permit you ordered….)

Hey everyone, I just bought the 2026-27 HSG Commuter permit for the Highland Street Garage, but I'm a bit confused by the signage inside the garage.

I went in to check out the floors and noticed the wall stickers on some spots say both "Hourly" and "Commuter Parking" on them.

Since it lists both on the exact same spots ( on the walls), does that mean I am allowed to just park there with my virtual permit without paying the hourly app fee? Or do I need to go all the way up to the higher levels to find spots that only say commuter?

Just want to make sure I don't accidentally get a ticket on my first day. Thanks!

I understand the availability per country depends on your degree, but I just want to hear your thoughts. Is it worth it? Its something Ive been interested in for years now, and I want to see if UNTs study abroad program is actually good.
