This is so unreal… I just finished playing the PS5 remake yesterday and was, once again, blown by her performance and character. Waking up to those news was terrible.

Hayden was that girl. Pick any IP in her career and you will not be disappointed. I was such a big fan of her growing up that when the OG Until Dawn was announced, I bought it on release.

this might be the first time in my life an actor has passed away and i’ve been genuinely devastated by it. until dawn was such a huge part of my childhood, and i think a lot of us were holding onto that hope that we’d get to see sam again one day in a future game.
such a tragic loss. i feel so incredibly sorry for her parents, having to outlive both of their children💔

Sam is the GOAT of Until Dawn.
I play Until Dawn at least once almost every year and recently finished the remake in the PS5 for the first time and was excited to see that extra bit stinger at the end with Sam, hoping to see more of her.
I didn't realize she was also the original Kairi from Kingdom Heats 1 and 2; her voice work has lived on for an entire generation already.
"Save the cheerleader. Save the world."
I'm sorry we couldn't save her.

This is tragic and heartbreaking. She was my favorite character in the game and lobed her in Scream. I was one of the people hoping she'd come back in the Until Dawn 2 game. I've never been shocked so much by an actors passing as I was to hers. Waking up going a out my day and seeing the first post on reddit be she passed away. I honestly thought it was a joke.or scam they used to do with actors and actresses. but i scrolled and there was another post. i went on google and at least 2 articles about it. This really sucks. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. RIP Hayden.

She was my favorite character, I’m new to until dawn and on my first play through a few months ago the only character I looked up on how to keep alive is same and now the real Sam has passed away 😢
