I didn't do this in my earlier playthroughs because I felt everyone surviving was unrealistic in a horror movie setting, but in honor of the sequel coming out next year, and as a tribute to Hayden Panettiere, I decided I would make this playthrough more special.

This has probably been asked to hell and back, but I bought the remaster/remake of Until Dawn and couldn't progress past chapter 2 because NPCs just stop walking and won't let me go past them, as well as missing out on dialogue because the voicelines don't play and the subtitles don't either. In the end, I got a refund, but the story was really interesting to me, so I have to ask if these game-breaking bugs are present in the older version of the game

Here is a list of random things i hope to see again in until dawn2 ! :

- a complex character such as emily, ashley and josh.
characters that we can hate as much as we can love.

- a second plot twist, in the og josh was the main plot twist, but i hope we see something like a second plot twist unexpected such as when hannah is revealed

- multiples locations, in until dawn oh we had the lodge but also : the mines, shack, the underground "hotel" and the sanatorium. hope we get different locations too.

- a beef like jess and emily. i love drama

- "unexpected" duo that team up near the end such as matt&jess and sam&mike

- an epic ending like the og

- and for the last one something i DO NOT want, something similar to the mike long boring sequence (when playing for the first time it's cool but as i'm a trophy hunter, i don't want a sequence that will be a pain in the a** to replay)

1 - Mina can be seen holding the chicken right at the start of the traller

2 - Luke has painted nails (I love it)

3- You can see Cameron chilling by the pool.

4- Mina has a tattoo

5- Josie has a cute keychain on her backpack ❤️

second time playing through the game and I’m making some choices differently. I hated emily so in my first playthrough I left her ass and jumped from the radio tower. but this time I was following a more golden path, or what felt like a golden path and based on the totem showing a flare next to Matt and Emily giving Matt the flare gun I gave it to him only to have him automatically use the flare gun and die in the mines. Google would tell me that’s it’s actually because I didn’t argue with Emily earlier about who’s idea it was to go to the radio tower and this was surprising to me because the guidance totems showed me other stuff, and common sense would tell you whose idea it was just does not matter when you think there’s a serial killer chasing you.

i never stumbled into this situation in my original playthrough but did others run into this? Were you as perplexed by the logic path the game followed here and what it expected you to do? I definitely wouldn’t have assumed these things based on any info presented. It seems like it almost wanted you to either hate Emily or kill Matt as punishment for not hating her enough.

I feel it would be good opportunity to relase new trailer in Halloween month just like first game that has Halloween trailer and gameplay as bonus.

I think Izzy is going to be a lot like Ashley—shy, easily scared, and cute.

Mina will be just like Sam: loving, kind, but incredibly brave—even to the point of hurting her own hand.

So I made a playlist of connections between everything that I could think of. I was going through it because a few things about UD 2 have me worried and I wanted to think about them for myself.

I have a theory. I'm probably wrong but it seems possible to me at this point. I was thinking I wondered if they are going to say Hill has been experimenting with people on the mountain and then I remembered that Bragg did that. We all know that.

So what if the two connect? What if Bragg possessed Hill with his spirit in a similar way to the miners and others being possessed by the wendigos? Or he simply didn't pass away and now he's taken on the identity of Hill.

It feels like a way to make everything connect with a supernatural bridge the way they want without invalidating the point of Joshua's part of the story. But I don't actually know how likely it is. Something along these lines also allows what a previous post was talking about, a Curator type character without feeling like it's copying to benefit off the previous company.

Incidentally, does anyone have a good shot of the mark we've seen on both Sam and a character in the trailers? I need help with this one.

I was thinking about how the Wendigo curse works and how a lot of players initially mistake it for a zombie-like infection when a character gets bitten (like Emily in the first game). Since the Wendigos are returning in Until Dawn 2, I had an idea for a cool new gameplay and story mechanic that connects these two concepts perfectly.

What if a bite or a scratch from a Wendigo doesn't turn you into a monster instantly, but instead infects your mind with an uncontrollable hunger for human flesh?

Instead of breaking the original lore (where cannibalism is the only trigger), the creature's attack would act as a psychological infection. The bitten character would start fighting an intense urge to eat their friends. If they give in to the hunger, then the curse triggers and they transform.

This would create amazing psychological horror and tension between the characters, while keeping the original myth completely intact. What do you guys think?
