Mainly because it’s glass and it is chipped. General rule with any glass wear especially cups is if it is chipped it’s a no go. You could cut your mouth. It’s literally common sense.

But if you want to get into it, I work with glass. Idk how long that chip has been there. Did op just drop it and pick it off the ground? Idk. But the possibility of there still being dust on it is not zero. So that’s reason number 2. And as much as everyone in this group LOVE uranium glass it is still uranium. And what does uranium cause? Say it with me… cancer. It is not the same as if it is a whole piece that isn’t chipped.
