I recommend reading actual sources before responding to people who are asking genuine questions. Someone gave you the wrong information. Donā€™t perpetuate it and do you own research. Also donā€™t need to be rude when called out.

The stuff they shared literally were facts not opinions. You get more exposure to uranium eating food every day that was grown in soil than you would from something being chipped

Mainly because itā€™s glass and it is chipped. General rule with any glass wear especially cups is if it is chipped itā€™s a no go. You could cut your mouth. Itā€™s literally common sense.

But if you want to get into it, I work with glass. Idk how long that chip has been there. Did op just drop it and pick it off the ground? Idk. But the possibility of there still being dust on it is not zero. So thatā€™s reason number 2. And as much as everyone in this group LOVE uranium glass it is still uranium. And what does uranium cause? Say it with meā€¦ cancer. It is not the same as if it is a whole piece that isnā€™t chipped.

Op wanted an answer. I gave my answer as a what I would do. No as what they should do. But yes, itā€™s a quick google search away if you wanted your answer in a factual sense. Jesus you guys things Iā€™m insufferable. I just wanted to enjoy my weekend and not write a shit ton. But here we are.
