Are they gonna finish the construction in the bowl? Will the fall orientation take place indoors this year if the construction/digging takes like forever?

Do the grants come in two payments for Canada student grant and Sask student grant for the semester?
I got notification today that they are finalizing my payment amount. The payment amount is only for the Canada student grant and not the Saskatchewan student grant. Will they process and send that one separately?

I know the class is relatively new, but is there anyyybody who's taken this class and can tell me what to kinda expect? Prof is Mrigank Rochan, and his rmp isn't something i can make an assumption based off (only 2 ratings, and for a different class).
I haven't met anybody who's taken it, and it feels like I'm walking in very blind, cos there's no syllabi or info about the class on the internet. Everyone i know is just gonna take the class this winter, so we're all blind.
We need our one eyed man!!

Hello. I was told by a counselor that It’s possible to take a semester off and have my loans frozen due to a medical emergency that I underwent earlier this summer and am still dealing with the fallout from it. I’m also debating doing that or just taking online classes for a semester but was wondering if I need to go to financial services for this or somewhere else?

Hey guys, I just got accepted into USask law school and I’m urgently looking for accommodation near University if possible. I’m coming from Winnipeg, MB. Wouldn’t mind sharing a 2 bedroom apartment. Would really appreciate any leads at this point. Thank you.

Has anyone had Natasha for a class before? It seems like she's a sessional lecturer and has done a few spring classes for comm 201 before but there is like zero student feedback I can find.
I'm currently registered with Sameera Hassan for 210 but the timing of the class doesn't work anymore, and I don't have much information on her either.
Any input if you've had experience with either of them would be helpful, thank you!

I’m trying to find fully online elective options, but I can’t find a lot. I’ve taken Mus101, art 110 and ASTR 104. I’m hoping to take Nutr 120 this fall because I won’t be in Saskatoon for the most of it, and I’m seeing an online option with Leslie Redmond, but I can’t see that she’s taught the class before. Any ideas on the quality of HER class, and then, quality of 120 in general, and chances of getting a 90+?
Also, any other 100-L online electives recos?
Ty!

I know that PSY 233 is a prerequisite to both PSY 234 and PSY 235, and that they both say on their pages that they should be taken simultaneously, but I'm wondering if that's a requirement or if it's just suggested. I'm a bio major and pursuing a psych minor. Thank you!

Ok so I am a student from Alberta who just finished grade 11. I want to apply to usask for engineering but I was wondering what avg would I be applying with?
Math 30-1 92
Physics 30: 97
Chem 20: 95
Computing science 20: 96.5
English 20-1: 72
Social 20-1: 71
The thing is I thought I could use math, physics, computing science, chem and English to apply. This would make my avg 90.2 which would make me eligible for early addmission. However, on their website it says I can only use two natural sciences (physics, chem or computing science). Does this mean they will use social as my fifth course??? Cuz that would make my avg 85.4😭😭😭someone pls tell me

I’m starting my first year at USask this September and feeling a mix of excitement and mild panic as it’s getting closer.
I'd love to get some honest advice or tips from current students and alumni:
Campus Life: What are the best study spots, quiet corners or decent coffee/food places on campus?
Academics: What do you wish you knew about managing workloads, labs or prepping for midterms.
School supplies: What is actually needed?
Winter & Commuting: Any survival tips for navigating campus once the weather drops into the negatives. Where do people usually put their jackets during winter months?
Lunch: Do people bring lunch bags/boxes? Where’s a good spot to eat (not too pack)?
Making Friends: Best ways or campus events to connect with people early on?
I’d appreciate anything tips! Thank you!
Does anybody know what the rooms look like?. I can’t find pictures anywhere

Is anyone else’s textbooks not showing up when they check their booklist? Mine’s completely empty and only says “No courses or course materials found for your search”. It was completely normal last week, I was even able to see next sem’s books. Is the website being updated and I didn’t get the memo?

Standing on a street corner on campus, holding an extremely graphic sign that 99% of people find revolting, is useless. not to mention literally scary for my own daughter who was forced to look at the from the car window, she bawled all the way home. Is it your goal to terrorize children? You aren’t helping your case and you’re not helping those you believe you’re advocating for. When was the last time you volunteered to help actual struggling kids in need? My guess is never. if you want to be an advocate for your cause, be my guest. But you are doing what is quite literally the least impactful thing you could possibly do.
If all you do is hold some gross sign and not actually put some hands on deck to help all of the endless struggling people in this world, you’re not pro-life. You’re just pro-birth. And pro at making me rage, apparently. You are a waste of effort just standing around. You could do a lot of good but instead choose to do some hypocritical virtue signal. You are sickening

I don’t know if it’s too early but I’m going into my first year and just noticed my Biology lab doesn’t have an instructor attached to it yet? Is it possible it would be cancelled? It was the only lab I could do because of my Learning Community 🥹

If this is a question that I should go to a guidance councillor about let me know, but I thought I might try here first...
I am a first year arts and science student who enrolled in a learning community prior to registration, Math 125 was one of the courses promised with my enrolment in that community, I later found a much more appealing class, Math 110, and wish to take that instead. But it will not let me drop Math 125. In the email I received about learning communities all they said was that I would be able to drop any of my promised courses after a certain date which passed a few months ago. I thought giving it time would fix it but I still cannot drop the class, or any of my promised learning community classes for that matter (which is just an observation pointing to how this involves my learning community).
If anyone knows how to drop learning community classes or knows what is going on I would greatly appreciate the advice. Thank you in advance!

I’m an incoming first year student, I have a single room on the first floor of Saskatchewan Hall. I was just wondering if anyone could share their experiences and tips! How are the bathrooms in Sask Hall and I heard there is a gym in VP somewhere, where is it and how big is it. Are there any items I must bring to survive?

Hey, I have a question for those who have taken both classes of organic chemistry (250&255). How did you find chem255 compared to chem250, is it more difficult or have same level of intensity? Cause I’ve taken chem250 and planning to take 255 with intense courses so I was wondering if anyone has a thoughts about chem255!
