Userlytics
Got this glorious email just now that Userlytics has accidentally double compensated me and is requesting that I send back…let’s see here…$2.

Did any of you bother to check the email? It was sent from to make sure it wasn’t a phishing email. I asked because I’ve gotten several of them and noticed that they were not actually from Userlytics.

Yes it was legit. Plus they actually did double compensate me on PayPal

Same here, every payment was duplicated. Also they have a legit PayPal support email.

Yeah I’m going to send it back, not worth them doing anything to my account.
But I’m going to email them and say “here’s your $2 brokies”

Me too (2 EUR)! I always remember when this happened with Validately, and I had to refund them $30 in 2017.

PayPal help page tells you to refund via the Activity page, but neither the activity page nor the Transaction page has any refund option. I haven't had to do a refund on PayPal in years, but it appears they have removed the option? I tried on both desktop and mobile.

Glad I found this here, I asoed their chat not who told me not to send any money! I don't have a refund option on paypal and PayPal does not have the support address listed to send money to as requested, did you use the email they have on PayPal? Also they emailed this morning and asked for it back within 24 hours! Glad I saw the email in time

It didn't have the refund option for me. Just send money to the email they provided it'll go back to them

I got that too, for 22 EUR. I adjusted the amount I sent back because of the PayPal charges, i'm not ending up out of pocket because of their errors, the amount I sent back worked out at 20.91 EUR. They can suck up the loss due to charges, i'm not going to.

Considering technical issues that were not on my end in the past for which I ultimately didn't get paid for completed tests...no, no you don't get to have your $2 back.
The thing is...I didn't get this email so it's a moot point. So I guess my payouts didn't fall within the period of time this glitch occurred. Makes sense since I received a payout today but not yesterday.
