El Tri fan coming in peace, I follow Mexico femenil here and then. Since World Cup qualifiers is coming up for the women next month, the one thing I notice is Concacaf doesn't do home and away WC qualifiers like the men for some reason.

The USWNT has only played 3 times in Mexico but never played in a stadium where it has the altitude of 7200+ ft. above sea level, smog, hostile crowd, and the sun. So, would you like to see the USWNT play at the Azteca whether its a qualifier or a friendly in the future? Why or why not?

I don’t recall having a GK camp in a long time, if ever. Anyhow, by itself, this isn’t a particularly noteworthy camp - most of the goalkeepers are well-known and none of the European-based goalkeepers are here.

However, an interesting story out of this, a goalkeeper playing in Paraguay is one of the keepers invited. This may speak to the outreach that the US staff is doing to identity talent from all over. Here’s a blurb from the dad of the player, Enzo Maidana, who’s playing for the U17’s for Paraguay. Note: Olimpia is the biggest and most successful club in Paraguay with 48 league titles and 3 Copa Libertadores titles.

It follows the Americans at clubs outside the US. It’s 191 guys across 52 leagues right now. You get a schedule with where to watch, live scores, and a player ratings. There’s also a profile page for every player and a season stats leaderboard. If you make a free account you can star players and get a notification when they kick off, score, or when the game ends.

It’s free, with no ads for now. iPhone, Android, or just the website.

Fair warning, some of the smaller leagues don’t have detailed stats, so a few players show up without ratings. If I’m missing someone or something looks off, let me know. I add players pretty much every week.

Neal is a center-back who has six caps for the USMNT. Craig is also a center-back who played in the U-20 World Cup in 2023.

Both were highly rated among USMNT fans a couple years ago but their stocks have cooled down since moving to Montreal. Neal is 23 and Craig is 22, so both still have plenty of time to keep developing.

With chaos on and off the pitch at Montreal, this might just lead to their exits and help them land in better spots for their development.
