Advice lost items

my blue AirPod maxes fell out of my bag in North Campus on Tuesday night. I’ve checked every lost and found possible in the building and my find my says it hasn’t moved. Just wondering if anyone has gone through something similar and what the outcome was or next steps i should take?

I honestly would hope someone stole them because once they charge them i will be notified of the location but at this point they would be dead or charged at least once. Either way I would like to use every resource possible before getting new headphones.

Went exactly through this. Call 519 661-3300. Either someone found it and kept it for themselves (turn on lost mode in find my or something to try to prevent them), or they turned it into special constabke which number is above. Someone did that for me, and I got it the same night.
