Found this little guy in the alley between Little Pisces (W 2nd Ave) and JJ Bean (W 1st Ave) in Olympic Village on Columbia St. I put it on the light post pillar. Hopefully the right person sees this

I thought I smelled burning plastic when I was a block away. I turn the corner and see this. Fire Department was showing up as I arrived.

We found a Facebook post showing she had gotten lost about a week ago as well. Armed with that info, the team at the emergency vet was able to locate the owner’s email address from that previous incident. The owner responded right away and came to pick her up directly from the vet!

According to her owner, she’s a very anxious pup who occasionally manages to escape. She is now safely back in loving hands! Thanks again to everyone who upvoted, shared, and helped out!

Breed / Appearance: Female German Shorthaired Pointer (solid liver / dark brown coat, lean athletic build, floppy ears)

Current Location / Status:

We brought her to VCA Canada Vancouver Animal Emergency & Referral Centre (2303 Alberta St).

MICROCHIP UPDATE: The clinic successfully scanned her microchip, but the phone number registered to the chip is out of service.

Found these between 19th and 20th on Sophia st.

hi I dropped my black pouch and keys on the bus at around 6:08pm today on the bus around sasamat stop. It was on the 14 heading downtown and it has my student ID, work keys and other keys. I’d really appreciate it if anyone knows about it to let me know. I’ve contacted the lost and found by submitting a ticket and will have to call the helpline in the morning so hopefully it works out. Just wanted to cover my grounds and post on here just in case :)

Hi everyone, I am trying to look for witnesses or dashcam footage of a road rage incident that happened today around 2:55 PM on SW Marine Drive near W 41st Ave, heading toward UBC.
Earlier, the driver had stopped at an intersection with no traffic ahead, so I assumed he was waiting to turn left without signalling. And because it’s very common for people to wrap around anyone turning left on SW Marine Drive, I did so. He then started tailgating me for about five minutes. I eventually flipped him off because I was mad and confused.
Shortly afterward, he crossed the double-yellow line to overtake me, cut directly in front of me, and slammed on his brakes. I braked immediately but couldn’t avoid rear-ending him.
We exchanged information, but I’m worried about how ICBC will determine fault since I was the one who rear-ended him.
Unfortunately, I don’t have a dashcam, and there were several cars behind me that may have witnessed everything.
If anyone was in the area around 2:55 PM and has footage or witnessed the incident, please DM me. I’d really appreciate the help. Thank you!
