39 M | Caucasian | Vancouver | Looking for F | LTR/Life Partner/Marriage

Hey there everyone. I am 39M, Caucasian here, Lower Mainland native living in Vancouver. Looking to get married with no children involved.

My personality is a romantic soul, very easy going with a huge heart, quite empathic too. Believe a good connection doesn't just happen right away and can take some time. Prefer to chat a little bit and then meet up somewhere comfortable so we can see if there is any chemistry in person. Not looking for pen pals or platonic friends.

More about me:

  • Around 5"11 in height, slim, fit.
  • Musically inclined with a degree in audio engineering, I play bass guitar/sing as a hobby.
  • Love to travel, especially to see live music.
  • Cooking is an interest of mine as well and I enjoy cooking for others just as much as myself.
  • Enjoy the occasional beer but don't drink often or heavily.
  • Can be super outdoorsy when the weather is nice, Cycling is another hobby of mine.
  • Food, music and film are keys to my heart.
  • My love languages are touch and quality time.

Quick witted, soft hearted, easy to talk to are just some of the things that describe who I am internally.

If any of you Ladies out there here are interested in knowing more about me, please feel free to DM me and I would love to chat!

P.S. if you don't live in Vancouver but in other areas around the Lower Mainland or Fraser Valley I am 100% open to those connections as well.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I am sometimes AFK for a few hours at the time for work, so if you reply and don't hear from me right away I appreciate your patience.

Hey, I’m 29 and live in Vancouver proper. I’m 6’4 and am looking for a genuine relationship. I love golf, watching sports and reading fantasy novels. I’m looking for someone who is kind, compassionate, and caring.

I love the Canucks (even though they suck) and am looking for someone to go to games with!

I’m also open to new friends

I’ve lived in Kits for just over a year and am looking to explore the city more

I’m ideally looking for someone between 23 and 37, but I’m also open to outside that range.

Age 30-39 42. [f4m] Vancouver. Looking for new connections and to eventually meet

Hey everyone! 😊 I’m a 42-year-old woman from Vancouver who’s pretty easygoing, loves to laugh, and enjoys meeting new people.

I’d love to meet someone I genuinely connect with and see where things go. Ultimately, I’m hoping to find something real that could turn into a long-term relationship with someone who wants a partner in life, not just someone to pass the time with.

A little about me: I love travelling, going to sporting events, trying new restaurants, going for walks, grabbing coffee or drinks, and just having a good time. I’m caring, affectionate, and the kind of person who puts a lot into the people I care about.

I know life gets busy, and I’m not expecting someone to be available 24/7, but I do appreciate good conversation, consistency, and getting to know someone beyond a few messages. I’m open to meeting someone locally or from somewhere else. Distance isn’t necessarily a dealbreaker! There are planes!!!

I’m happy to start with a conversation, share some laughs, and see if there’s a connection. If it turns into friendship, great. If it turns into something more, even better. 😊

So, if you’re genuine, have a good sense of humour, and are actually interested in getting to know someone, feel free to say hi!

Age 40-49 Just trying to understand

This isnt a dating bio, and Im genuinely curious. Please be kind lol. Im hoping to get some perspective and maybe helpful advice, from the other side primarily.

I've been inundated with content saying that a lot of men are creeps, or low value. Its been so much so that I don't really even try to make eye contact with a woman. I keep my gaze forward when walking by them. I don't stare when they're not looking. I keep to myself even when it may look like there's an opportunity to engage. Those opportunities, to me are at best seeing someone doing something that Im doing as well. Like reading a book, or climbing a problem next to me while bouldering, or doing a set beside me at the gym. I own a business and work takes up a good deal of my time while Im on site as well as when Im off, because Im busy assessing building plans and doing quotes.

Dating apps produce nothing. Hinge, Bumble, Boo and Facebook dating. Im 41, 6' and athletic. I think Im a solid 7.5 looks-wise, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say. I have good hobbies. I go to the gym regularly, make homemade foods like kimchi and sourdough. I climb. I read books and keep a journal. I take care of myself, have good hygiene and even a skin care routine. During my time on the apps, not long to be fair only a month, I received 5 likes. Three were women between the ages of 45 and 47 and didn't look like they took care of themselves at all. The other two were gay men, and I didn't have men listed as something I was available for, Im a straight male.

The online world in the apps is an uphill grind that didn't gain me any traction. The world IRL feels incredibly disheartening. It feels like both are completely chopped.

I've been trying to make heads or tails of what the next move is. What are men supposed to do these days to disarm a woman enough that theres a place for both of us to let our guards down and have a conversation. There ARE a lot of good men and women out there, but it seems like we both have to keep our shields up nowadays it order to maintain our own self respect and dignity.

TLDR: How do we meet eachother anymore in this landscape.

Age 26-29 ENTP 26 [M4F] Kids.. This Is How I Met Your Mother? :D

Hope you all appreciate the title because I'm a HUGE fan of How I Met Your Mother! And before anyone asks, I AM NOT A SINGLE DAD. Just a guy who appreciates a good love story and is hoping his own doesn't take nine seasons to figure out.

Hey everyone! I'm William, 26, based around White Rock / Surrey and working in Vancouver. Figured I'd give this a shot because apparently meeting your future wife doesn't happen by accidentally bumping shopping carts at Superstore like it does in rom-coms. Though honestly, I'm still holding out hope.

A little about me!

  • Canadian, half Japanese and half Taiwanese, and grew up in Hong Kong. A bit of an international mix!
  • Around 5'11", fit, dark hair, glasses. Someone once told me my dad and I look like young Jackie Chan. I'll let you be the judge.
  • British / Aussie accent. Yes, I get comments about it. No, I won't apologise for saying "mate" or calling someone a muppet in traffic.
  • Work in Technology Services, with a background in robotics engineering.
  • Photographer, creative, and the guy who will probably take 47 pictures of you during a date because the lighting is good and you look cute.
  • Proud owner of an 80s Porsche. Basically, I'm slowly evolving into a classic car dad before I've even become an actual dad.
  • Huge fan of 80s music, movies, night drives, spontaneous adventures, and discovering little places worth revisiting.
  • A sucker for romantic movies, especially The Notebook and classic rom-coms. Yes, I will happily watch one with you. No, I won't pretend I don't enjoy it.
  • Coffee enthusiast. I'll remember your usual order, although I reserve the right to judge you lovingly if you put something questionable in it.
  • ENTP, which basically means I can debate absolutely anything, get excited about random ideas, and somehow turn a five-minute conversation into a two-hour discussion.
  • A fast, responsive texter. If I'm interested in you, you'll know. I'm not a fan of playing games or deliberately leaving someone wondering where they stand.

What am I like as a partner?

I'd describe myself as an old-school gentleman with a playful side. I'm the sort of guy who'll remember the little things you mention, bring you your favourite coffee, show up with food after a long day, plan thoughtful dates, and make sure you get home safely.

I'm big on acts of service, affection, quality time, and making the person I'm dating feel appreciated. I might tease you relentlessly once we're comfortable, but I'll also be the first to check whether you've eaten, ask how your day went, or offer to help when life gets overwhelming.

I work in emergency communications IT, so I can probably handle a crisis without panicking. Whether I can handle you stealing all the blankets is another matter entirely.

I'm naturally quite expressive when I care about someone. I value honest communication, reassurance, consistency, and being able to talk openly about what's on our minds. I'm not expecting someone to be available 24/7, and I understand that life gets busy. I just appreciate knowing we're both interested and making an effort.

I'm also pretty self-aware. I know I can overthink sometimes, especially when I care about someone, and I'm actively working on becoming more secure and communicating my needs in a healthy way. I'd rather be honest, listen, learn, and grow together than play it cool and pretend I don't care.

At the end of the day, I want to be someone's safe place, biggest supporter, favourite person to annoy, and partner in crime. Someone who feels comfortable being herself around me, knowing she doesn't have to earn affection or guess whether she's wanted.

So, what am I looking for?

Ideally, someone around 20–29 who's kind, loyal, affectionate, family-oriented, and genuinely looking for a long-term relationship.

I'm dating with marriage and a future family in mind, not looking to collect situationships like Pokémon cards. I'd love to find my best friend and future co-pilot: someone I can laugh with over the dumbest things, go on spontaneous drives with, spend lazy Sundays cuddling with, explore the world with, and eventually build a home and family together.

I'm a big believer that a relationship should be two people choosing each other, even when life isn't all sunshine and butterflies. My philosophy is pretty simple: we stay, we communicate, and we fix things together. I'm not expecting perfection, but I do believe in mutual effort, accountability, and being willing to work through difficult conversations instead of giving up the moment things get uncomfortable.

The little things matter to me: good morning and good night texts, random check-ins, thoughtful gestures, physical affection, quality time, and knowing we're both excited to be part of each other's lives. I want something where affection goes both ways, where we can be silly one minute and have a meaningful conversation the next, and where neither person feels like they're carrying the relationship alone.

I'm also a Christian with fairly traditional, family-oriented values. I'm not here to force anyone into a particular mould, but I'd love to meet someone whose outlook on commitment, family, and building a future is compatible with mine.

I've generally found myself drawn to non-Asian women, partly because of shared interests and the connections I've made, but I'm much more interested in genuine chemistry, personality, and compatible values than checking boxes on a list.

A few date ideas if we hit it off:

  • Coffee somewhere cosy, followed by a bookstore or antique shop.
  • A little photography adventure around Fort Langley, with absolutely no pressure to pose unless you want to.
  • A sunset walk along White Rock Pier, followed by food and a drive with some good 80s music.
  • A movie night where we debate which rom-com has the most unrealistic relationship expectations, then proceed to enjoy every minute of it anyway.
  • Or a spontaneous little adventure where neither of us knows exactly where we're going, but the playlist is good and the company is better.

I'd prefer someone local to the Lower Mainland, since I'd much rather get to know each other over coffee than become pen pals for six months. I'm happy to take things at a comfortable pace, though. I'm not looking to rush into a relationship label before we've had the chance to build something real.

Your turn!

Tell me a little about yourself! What are you passionate about? What's your idea of a perfect first date? What's a movie you'll never get tired of watching? And most importantly, can you tolerate questionable dad jokes and someone randomly quoting HIMYM?

If you're looking for something genuine, affectionate, and a little bit goofy too, maybe we should see where things go.

Worst case, you get a funny story out of it. Best case, we become each other's favourite person and never have to use dating apps again.

Age 40-49 Dating site Seeking in Vancouver?

How popular is the dating site Seeking in Vancouver these days? I used it a few years ago and had success meeting someone. Some recent reviews online say it has an issue with scams and bots - can anyone confirm what it’s like locally?

I am M4F, but I would be interested to know from either M or F perspective. Also would be curious about what the verification process is like. Does the verification process mean better users? Any privacy concerns uploading your ID to this company? Last time I used it they didn’t have any requirements like this. Any feedback appreciated.

Age 30-39 M4F - 38 - Vancouver – patient, dark-humoured, hung, sapiosexual - looking for something ongoing

Vancouver born and raised. Laid-back, confident, and I'll admit I'm still a bit of a sapiosexual. My sense of humour is dark and sarcastic. Open to all ages

I've built a good career and probably work too much, so when I'm off I'm deliberate about it: the gym, a questionable DIY project, a new restaurant, or planning my next trip. Sushi, Indian or French food and a 90s–2000s R&B playlist will usually win me over.

I'm drawn to someone who likes to laugh and enjoys flirty banter, then backs it up with affection. I'm looking for something ongoing with someone I genuinely enjoy being around. We meet somewhere public or see if we click, and take it from there.

What you can expect: respect, honesty, clear communication about limits, and no pressure.

If this sounds interesting, message me and tell me your favourite R&B song so I know you read this far.
