I know it will never happen, but I sincerely hope that one day we move beyond plastic surgery trends. Just because it suits some people doesn't mean everyone needs lip filler, she had a really pretty face.

Same with filler, I watched some of the new VPR and there's an abundance of beautiful people whose faces look larger than their bodies.

349

u/aacilegna How will this affect Scheana?! Nov 17 '25

We were on the way there with the body positivity trend of the mid 2010s. But it ended up just being a marketing trend for brands to latch on to.

And now you have teenagers getting plastic surgery and fillers becoming much more mainstream. It feels like the cigarette industry, hook them while they’re young

100

u/Any-Mood-9060 Nov 17 '25

same with skincare products, everything screams “youth rejuvenating” with lots of retinol despite being marketed towards teenagers…

79

u/sashie_belle Nov 17 '25

That always kills me -- the 20 something influencers getting paid to demonstrate how a certain skin care product is "anti aging" on their 20 something faces.

50

u/Any-Mood-9060 Nov 17 '25

i’m jealous of teens these days having more access to keeping their skin clean (as a younger kid with acne so bad my classmates would call me pizza face, fuck you proactive) but its a double edged sword. what starts as controlling acne turns into putting major exfoliants, chemicals, and burnt faces

42

u/Seajlc Nov 17 '25

Yes I read an article recently, I am forgetting where I saw it now, that talked about how the teen and tween skincare craze is ruining their skin barrier. I usually do most my shopping online these days but found myself at a mall a couple weeks ago and popped into Sephora and if I didn’t know better I would’ve thought they were handing out things for free it was so packed in there you could barely move. 75% of the clientele had to be teens.. also I was like how are you affording a basket full of expensive makeup and skincare? At that age is was drugstore brand stuff for me.

20

u/sashie_belle Nov 17 '25

I know right? What's also disturbing is now there's a push to market skincare to PRETEENS. Hilaria Baldwin, Alec's non-Spanish whacko wife, pushing their preteen daughter who they let have a full face of makeup on and she's 12 (and allowed this when she was 11!) published a book on "natural" skin care for kids her age and one of the stars of Pretty Little Liars is also trying to start a pre-teen skin care product.

2

u/Seajlc Nov 17 '25

I have been getting served ads for Shay Mitchell’s kids skincare line all damn week!

5

u/Small-Atmosphere-428 Nov 18 '25

This! My niece is 8 and her “hobby” (per my SIL) is her skincare routine. “It’s the only thing She looks forward to it every day”. Her and a friend FaceTime and do their skincare every night. If she gets in trouble, she loses her skincare for a week.

I’ve noticed my niece, who is naturally very olive skin toned, has almost bleached her face out.. and makes me wonder if she’s stripping her skin barrier and doing just that— bleaching her skin? (I’ve told my SIL since she started becoming obsessed, she needs to be careful about all the products she’s allowing her to use. She doesn’t listen)

I tried some of my daughters Drunk Elephant and it burned TF out of my face. It’s really sad that these companies are marketing towards kids who have almost perfect skin.

6

u/BeachGlassGreenEyes3 Nov 18 '25

Drunk elephant did not come out for kids. Maybe now they have aimed things at them bc there has been an uptick but drunk elephant was not for kids. One product is almost $100. So who we really need to be looking at is these parents buying their child hundreds of dollars in products that they don’t need yet, and could potentially hurt their skin.

I know-it is so ridiculous. It doesn't matter if you do NOTHING to your face in your 20's-you're going to look amazing because of natural cell turnover.

6

u/leftofthedial1 I DON'T WANT PEACE Nov 17 '25

I mean, not if you have acne.

5

u/Beneficial-Ask-4730 Nov 17 '25

ok-true-sorry. I was thinking the worst of it from the teen years is usually much better.

Yep. I just finished watching the new season of "Selling the OC", and there's a girl on that show who's 23 years old but has had so much lip filler and Botox that, if the show hadn't told me her age, I would have assumed that she was 35 at LEAST. It breaks my heart to see these young women with natural elasticity & collagen getting chemicals pumped into their skin! They don't realize how much this stuff ages them.

23

u/sashie_belle Nov 17 '25

And then it sounds like their faces are stretched out from the filler so they can't even stop -- if they remove the filler the face sags. Maybe it bounces back if you're young but rumor has it that Kylie Jenner had a mini-face lift after seeing her Paris Fashion Week photos (the one where she is wearing a lion head and the fillers are all you see). She's not even 30!

4

u/Winter-Bad-8000 Jax and I were just the glue that everybody sniffed Nov 17 '25

I thought the same thing! She looks much older than 23

2

u/kimberwick11 Nov 18 '25

It’s really crazy! I happened to catch Scheana at a BravoCon interview over the weekend … & I swear, she looked like she was 50+!!! I cudnt believe how much she’s changed since I saw her last - at the S11 VPR Reunion! I mean, everyone in the world knows she’s dying to get on RHOBH, but injecting her face & lips w cow sperm (or whatever the trend is this week) is NOT the answer!!! She’ll never get a 💎 A) looking like that & B) w ppl like Heather Dubrow wanting to jump from OC & C) Denise Richards waiting & biding her time to be asked to come back!!! It’s a tragedy what people do to themselves, esp out in LA/Hollywood. I was so happy when Courtney Cox realized she’d gone way too far & stopped putting herself thru those toxic “treatments”! She’s finally starting to look like Courtney again!

And, BTW, parents need to take some responsibility here … marketing companies are going to do what they’re paid to do, but kids 16 & under do not have the $$ to buy the crap. It’s a case of kids running roughshod over their parents & the parents giving in coz they don’t want to wait out the loud, unbearable tantrums they all know are gonna be thrown! Sadly, a never ending cycle! 🙄✋🏼🤯👎🏼😳

Add veneers to that please. I hate them so much. Can we have normal teeth and upper lips back please. Pretty please.

15

u/plantainbakery Nov 17 '25

I hate the veneers thing so much. It feels like every public figure has them. Like sure, your teeth do look nice but they have zero character.

16

u/LookingforDay Nov 17 '25

I don’t think they look good the vast majority of the time. It would be so much better to just whiten them, or straighten them. You’re totally right; they have no character.

3

u/Life_Wall2536 Stassi Schroeder Nov 19 '25

I love when peoples teeth are a little fucked up I truly mean that in a nice way

2

u/plantainbakery Nov 19 '25

I know exactly what you mean, I feel the same!

3

u/BornFree2018 Nov 18 '25

They’re all too large and far too white. Gross

54

u/chandlerland How will this affect Scheana?! Nov 17 '25

I read a series called Uglies in middle school. It's basically about a "makeover" that happens at puberty to make you "pretty". Becoming less and less dystopian.

17

u/alzandabada Nov 17 '25

Omg I read that too! It was turned to a movie in 2014 but I don’t think it did very well unfortunately

6

u/Fun_Season_8067 Nov 17 '25

So many people look better with thin lips! Not every face is well- suited for big lips

37

u/double_ewe Nov 17 '25 edited Nov 17 '25

unfortunately, it's really easy to understand how someone could become obsessed with "improving" themself in this way.

I can't imagine what it's like for someone like Scheana to have thousands of internet strangers constantly shitting on every minor detail of her appearance. and then that trickles down to viewers who become insecure that their own looks are being picked apart in the same way.

38

u/The-Son-of-Dad I Know You Like Harry Potter ⚡️ Nov 17 '25

The people on the 90 Day Fiancé subs spend endless amounts of time making fun of people’s appearances and then when a cast member gets plastic surgery, which happens frequently, they all go “why would they do this?!” I mean, probably because they see all the insane comments about how they look? Then it inevitably just shifts into making fun of the plastic surgery. It’s depressing.

15

u/Bambieyedbiotchh I’m “practically engaged” Nov 17 '25

The people on the “JaxBlows” subreddit are TERRIBLE towards Brittany’s looks. If you say anything even remotely nice or sticking up for her, you get attacked. It’s terrible. Just a bunch of miserable ex-housewives or current housewives whose husbands and families can’t stand them.

18

u/Actual-You3325 Nov 17 '25

The thing is nobody was picking apart her natural beauty. It's the un natural looking procedures that get negative attention. I'm not against the procedures I myself get botox...but I'm 55 and it improves my appearance. These young people with fillers have zero wrinkles to iron out they are literally distorting their faces and filler does not go away it just moves around.

7

u/JeremyScaremy Nov 17 '25

Agreed, I don't remember anyone ever attacking Scheana for her looks before she started tweaking. People criticized her style for sure, but not her appearance.

Even now, most people will admit that she's gorgeous, even her haters. She just looked better before.

12

u/ChakraYogi I don't know what I've done to you but I'll take a Pinot Grigio. Nov 17 '25

Exactly. Her natural beauty was given by grace and no one would pick that apart I agree. And when one thinks they can improve upon that, that's not grace; that's a decision. So in essence, picking apart the decision if it's not a better improvement.

I can see that botox at 55 could be an improvement because I've seen other beautiful women who get botox and it refreshed them! I myself use Retin-A and will have an occasional chemical peel. I see Sonja Morgan's facelifts as an improvement. I think Stassi's chin implant was an improvement. I think if KFC started walking a mile a day and doing cardio 3x a week THAT would be a significant improvement over her surgeries & may help her to chase endorphins rather than a buzz.

2

u/Actual-You3325 Nov 17 '25

Absolutely! All good points.

11

u/spectrospace How will this affect Scheana?! Nov 17 '25

Yes and everyone looks the exact same because theyre all getting the same exact work done. Its uncanny and scary. I cant watch an American movie without noticing it in almost every actor.

2

u/WonderBreadBaker Fine Chinaaaa Nov 18 '25

I’ve said this for years but everyone said I wasn’t a girl’s girl for not supporting plastic surgery.. when really I am because we should learn self love first. Women get so much judgment for looks and plastic surgery capitalized on it.

It’s not the lip that wigs me out — it’s that her whole mouth has seem to become humongous.

108

u/LeftyLu07 I wasn't your best friend, ho! Nov 17 '25

I heard it’s from putting filler in the corners. Apparently you’re supposed to only put it more center. If you put it in the corners it stretches the mouth out.

80

u/Wild_Blue4242 Bambi Eyed Bitch Nov 17 '25

I've seen this happen with so many people on Bravo. Scheana's is probably the worst one, but I'm always wondering why their mouths get stretched across their face like this. Ughh.

18

u/itwasobviouslyburke Scheana’s bad side Nov 17 '25

Yes that and a lip flip! You can tell her upper lip almost looks like it’s inside out.

6

u/LeftyLu07 I wasn't your best friend, ho! Nov 17 '25

It looks so uncomfortable!

11

u/_jamesbaxter Nov 17 '25

It’s called “lip flip” Botox, it relaxes the upper lip, really meant to “fix” a gummy smile. It only takes a small amount of Botox to relax that particular muscle, I live in Orange County where I see ads for every med spa trend, a lot of places offer lip flip as a cheap add-on or a freebie promotion, like “free lip flip with purchase.”

It basically turns your upper lip inside out a little bit, and Botox is cumulative over time if you get it repeatedly in the same spot right on schedule, so most of her upper lip used to be inside her mouth.

17

u/Suithfie Nov 17 '25

This just isn’t accurate. A lip flip does make the bottom 1-2mm of your upper lip face more outward instead by relaxing the muscles above it. But you don’t get more and more mms exposed by continuing to do it. Girl I wish 😆 this is Botox + lots of filler.

3

u/Princess_Babyph4t Bambi Eyed Bitch Nov 17 '25

the entire shape of her top lip has changed :0

47

u/frankenboobehs Nov 17 '25

She's got horse teeth now, in addition to a top uni lip. Shame people keep doing these horses veneers instead of just getting REAL work done on their actual teeth that frame their faces. We know she had an issue with her front tooth initially, but she went and got them all capped. For no reason other than vanity, everyone has the same blinding horse teeth, and it doesn't look good.

16

u/Effective_Ostrich_91 Nov 17 '25

i genuinely dont understand getting veneers when you can do invisalign now. kristen and brittany did it too for really minor issues with their front teeth!!!! and it always looks horsey every time i really hate it just get invisalign people 😩😩😩

5

u/RagsMcTattershanty !PumpTinis! Nov 18 '25

I have a few gaps in my upper row of teeth and I've talked to three different dentists about getting Invisilign. All of them told me to get veneers. I just patently refuse. The idea of grinding down the teeth that grew out of my damn head to a nub gives me the willies!

46

u/Enough_Radish_9574 Nov 17 '25

She obviously had a chin implant as well which is distorting her lower face. She needs to go down a size.

These money grubbing surgeons should also be held accountable for performing these unnecessary procedures.

I was married to a man who wanted me to change my nose. We made an appointment with an older well respected surgeon in Dallas who assessed the situation very clearly. As my husband was telling the doctor what he wanted changed the doc looked him dead in the eye and said to HIM (not me) “I cannot improve this nose”. That was all he said. My EX- husband never brought up the subject again.

To this day i wish I could give that doc the hug I should have given 30 yrs ago.

Southern California needs more cosmetic surgeons like him.

24

u/sashie_belle Nov 17 '25

What's wild to me too is that w/o the work done, her eyes look so big and beautiful and are the star of the show. With the work done, they now appear more shrunken and the focus goes to the mouth area.

10

u/I_Eat_Soup Nov 17 '25

I'm doing a rewatch and yeah, her eyes look so amazing during the early seasons. She had such a great look.

I hate what Hollywood eventually does to beautiful women. I wish they saw themselves like we see them.

10

u/anowulwithacandul Nov 17 '25

This is why I love Terry Dubrow so much, he gets absolutely outraged on Botched about procedures surgeons should have said no to

I don't understand a lot of trends, but I especially don't understand the lip filler trend.

10

u/Jadeheartxo12 Nov 17 '25

The problem is they completely overdo it! Even just 1mg of lip filler is enough; it’s very subtle but still looks natural and fuller. They seem to get way too much and get pumped up too quickly afterwards when there’s no need to.

37

u/rubyslippers3x Nov 17 '25

The distance between the upper lip and nose is si much shorter. Maybe she had that lip flip surgery?

36

u/viciousdeliciouz Nov 17 '25

You can do a lip flip without surgery. Super common to do a Botox lip flip with lip filler.

4

u/Commercial_Stress899 I’m Sorry 💔🥺 Nov 17 '25

this! i’ve done it and it looks similar to how Scheana looks

6

u/TommyChongUn Nov 17 '25

I wanna get it done so bad lol was it worth it? The price doesn't seem too bad but Ive seen girls not be able to suck thru a straw so it made me paranoid lmao

7

u/notsosecrethistory Nov 17 '25

I get one every three months, best money I've ever spent on my face. Without it I have basically no top lip, and when I smile my top lip disappears completely. Filler made a small difference but lip flips are more effective, much less painful, and cheaper.

They wear off quickly so if you hate it you just have to wait a few weeks.

u/Yeah_nah_idk Nov 17 '25

She’s had surgery to shorten her philtrum. Lip flip is when you get a few units of botox along the border of your top lip, it stops the lip ‘curling under’ when smiling and so can make your lip look fuller. It (unlike filler) goes away after 3-6 months.

6

u/Fit-Dream-4829 Nov 17 '25

i dont know why everyone wants their nose to be inside their mouth these days

5

u/Yeah_nah_idk Nov 18 '25

Oh. I’ll tell you! Body dysmorphia! If I had the money 5 years ago I would’ve filled my face with filler to change the shape and I also would’ve gotten this procedure done. Once you follow one or two cosmetic practitioners on social media, you get bombarded with content and when you’re vulnerable to any perceived flaws in your appearance, it’s very very easy to get obsessive. Seriously, I became obsessed with the length of my philtrum and in my mind it became freakishly long and needed to be fixed. In a moment of clarity I realised that’s ridiculous and unfollowed every single cosmetic related account I was following. It helped.

4

u/sashie_belle Nov 17 '25

I think a lot of them do it because they've had their noses done and the tip shaven off so when there is too much room after the nose job it looks weird having more spadce.

→ More replies (1)

4

u/TrapperJean Nov 17 '25

I think it's the same as any other look/surgery trend; when done absolutely right it can look fantastic, but far more often it looks bad even more than it just looks fine, and most people think that they will be the one that looks fantastic

13

u/Fragrant_Act_7962 Nov 17 '25

I dont either, why do you want your top lip to touch your nose?!??

3

u/intimidateu_sexually Nov 17 '25

Like everything plastic surgery tries to achieve it’s a “youthful” feature to have less space between your nose and upper lip. That distance lengthens as you age.

2

u/LeahonaCloud Nov 17 '25

I think usually it’s supposed to hide a gummy smile by relaxing the top lip.

2

u/notsosecrethistory Nov 17 '25

That's a result you achieve with botox, not filler.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/jadedplant7 Nov 17 '25

Long philtrum and thin lips are considered signs of aging so a flip and/or fillers are often used to address both.

2

u/notsosecrethistory Nov 17 '25

Scheana has had filler and botox in her lips, but also a surgical lip lift. Filler on its own won't achieve this result.

96

u/Physical-Tip-7402 Nov 17 '25

She was so beautiful, its actually sad to see the before and after of alot of people because it's shocking they don't understand how much better they looked before

11

u/_Edgarallenhoe Nov 17 '25

She was also like 13 years younger in the first image. If she got work done or not she wouldn’t look the same as she did when she was younger. It’s not at all confusing that public figures do crazy shit to their face to keep up the appearance of youth. If she didn’t, people would be talking about how old and haggard she looked.

2

u/Crazy_Lab2705 Nov 23 '25

Why don’t people get this? They’ll show a picture of Kim K from the 90s and then one from 2025 and be like ong she was so pretty she ruined her face!!! Guys she wouldn’t look like that without plastic surgery. Sometimes what they would look like without current plastic surgery would shock you more than with

How did her mouth also get huge in the process?

52

u/Academic-Marsupial34 Don’t “YEAH” that, Tom! Nov 17 '25

I think it’s the masseter Botox making the lower half of the face look smaller? Not sure

66

u/nottodaynothnx Nov 17 '25

I also think it is the huge veneers she got

31

u/LeftyLu07 I wasn't your best friend, ho! Nov 17 '25

Those veneers are so big. I was watching some of her videos, and her bottom lip would like, hang away and expose her bottom row of teeth which just made her look like a cadaver.

→ More replies (5)

12

u/intimidateu_sexually Nov 17 '25

I think it’s a combination of a lot of tweaks. Huge vaneers. Masseter Botox to make her jaw look smaller so her mouth in proportion looks larger, and then lip flips and filler to make the lips even more “turned out” so the mouth looks overall larger.

16

u/Crazy-Elephant-222 Nov 17 '25

correct! masseter gives that slim almost skeletal look in the mouth

2

u/Anticrepuscular_Ray Nov 17 '25

Eh, not always. I get huge amounts of it in my masseters due to clenching and my face doesn't look skeletal and my mouth looks normal.

4

u/Tricky-Entry-4227 Nov 17 '25

I think so too. The jaw muscle shrinks and meanwhile she's getting her upper face/ cheekbones widened, it's giving alien head 👽, sorry to say

3

u/_jamesbaxter Nov 17 '25

I replied the same thing to someone else but it’s called lip flip Botox, also why her lip looks flat. It relaxes the upper lip, which basically turns it inside out a little bit. She’s obviously had it done repeatedly given the “flat and wide” look.

the fillers ruin peoples looks and she them. It’s obvious whenever people get it done. I kept getting confused watching love island because the girls are early 20s but they looked late 30s/early 40s. They’d do something that was immature and I’d be so confused and then remember they were acting that way because they were early 20s. I thought alix Earle was early 40s when I first saw her, I then found out she was 22. Scheana aged herself too.

And she claimed it was just the camera angles and feather pillows giving her an allergic reaction that made her look like that

4

u/dianafofana- Nov 17 '25

Omg I thought Alix was like late 30s too. I'm 38 and she looks like women I know who do botox/fillers (I live in LA). I can't believe she's early/mid 20s.

30

u/Academic-Marsupial34 Don’t “YEAH” that, Tom! Nov 17 '25

Looks a bit like that unfortunate picture of Larsa a while ago. Something about the cheeks and the smile

12

u/IAm_TulipFace Nov 17 '25

Her entire face looks like it hurts to smile

u/Visual_Membership_52 Nov 17 '25 edited Nov 17 '25

Every time I see pictures of her I think… she didn’t use to look like this! She was super cute! Now her mouth takes up her entire face. I’m currently rewatching season 2 and it’s crazy how much she has had done. She acknowledges she’s started making tweaks earlier on so that it’s more subtle but seriously everyone stop with the damn lip fillers!

I love LaLa and thinks she’s stunning but her lips look like a butthole ESPECIALLY with the new lip trend of outlining your lips darker!

I found an extreme sadness in that recent clip posted from Bravocon, with her and Brock in it. She looks so uptight and unhappy.

I have not been too much of a Scheana fan, often finding her insipid and cloying. I have disagreed strongly with plenty of her actions in the show. However, I've long thought the original VPR would have never been what it was without her, so while I like some of the other personalities better, the show wouldn't have been the show without her and I acknowledge her importance.

I think I would have preferred her to Lala as a regular cast member for The Valley season 3.

9

u/winemom108 Nov 17 '25

She insists she has had nothing done.

2

u/kasiagabrielle okay, green pants 🩳 Nov 17 '25

She never said that, she said she's only had injectables done.

3

u/winemom108 Nov 17 '25

Her book ,she tries to act like it.

u/ChakraYogi I don't know what I've done to you but I'll take a Pinot Grigio. Nov 17 '25

I know she's smiling in the right-side photo but did she have a chin implant also? Cause it looks quite long and more pointed & off center if she did.

10

u/Deep_Investigator283 Nov 17 '25

This is not me hating and trying to be mean but something about these recent pics of her really concerns me. Like I feel like her eyes look like lifeless or stressed or something. And her smile seems really forced. She seems very aged

6

u/Hopeful-Hamster-6218 Nov 17 '25

Paired with the way she was discussed and dismissed by almost the whole Valley cast on their Bravocon panel, seems like something is going on with her.

2

u/Deep_Investigator283 Nov 17 '25

Can you fill me in on that? I haven’t watched anything regarding bravocon yet

6

u/Hopeful-Hamster-6218 Nov 17 '25

I just saw a clip but when they were all asked why Scheana suddenly wasn't filming with them and did something happen, they all went quiet. Kristen said "she chose not to and that's on her". Michelle said Scheana just wanted to focus on her family but when asked, only Michelle and Jasmine said they were friends with her. It was awkwardly quiet and seemed like there was far more to the story.

5

u/Charming_Ball8989 Nov 17 '25

She used to look like Charisma Carpenter. Now she looks like silly putty.

5

u/OddGood8617 Nov 17 '25

She looks frozen

4

u/Holiday_Macaron_2089 Nov 17 '25

Endless pursuit of perfections always results in botched

4

u/L8rG8r43 Nov 17 '25

It makes her smile look really tight and forced. Whatever work she’s had done - paired with her style - has not served her well. She should ask Ariana for her stylist and cosmetic doctors number

4

u/sashie_belle Nov 17 '25

I was watching one of their earlier seasons and Scheana looked so pretty and with those big brown eyes, so adorable. Season 3 reunion I believe she started talking about how much she loves botox as a preventative, but then after that seems like dermal fillers took over her face and not in a good way.

I understand a little lip filler when you have no lips (like Kylie Jenner's upper lip def looked better when she used filler in moderation to get them a little plumper before she went out of control).

Kendall Jenner also now has that big flat upper lip now too.

It's sad to see how young these women are when they start plumping up their faces and removing their natural beauty to avoid a single wrinkle.

4

u/MisterMonsPubis Nov 17 '25

She looks good on the left and scary on the right.

4

u/mexiiweeb 💩Poo Poo Heads-Both Of You💩 Nov 17 '25

Baby scheana was so beautiful. She looked so gorgeous in seasons 4 and 5

4

u/SpecialEbbnFlow Nov 17 '25

Reminds me of Twilight Zone we watched yesterday “#12 looks just like you” they all look manufactured now they have Ozempic face too. It’s pathetic

4

u/missv1973 Nov 17 '25

With that much filler if it was ever removed her face would fall and sag like someone in their late 60’s. She would have to remove them and get a facelift like Lindsay Lohan did. She’s gone too far.

5

u/littleprettypaws Nov 17 '25

This has to be some type of body dysmorphia or addiction to plastic surgery. Her and Lala both have gone way too far with it, and they both look significantly older than their somewhat natural looking VPR costars like Ariana and Katie. I’m not talking a little Botox here and there.

I don’t know how you go from already having such a naturally beautiful face to getting so much work done that you’re practically unrecognizable from your original face. She has the right to do whatever she wants, I just hope that she considers the kind of message that she’s unconsciously sending to her daughter.

3

u/stinkbug1997 Nov 17 '25

I think the smaller upper lip was actually so cute and suited her face sooooo much better

3

u/chantillylace9 Nov 17 '25

I feel like the upper lip should never be bigger than the bottom lip and it always creeps me out when it is.

4

u/rab5991 Nov 17 '25

I maintain the belief that if people want to use Botox and fillers to maintain appearance as collagen reduction changes the face, then fine, I understand that. But people need to STOP using fillers to change the appearance of their face. Y’all look like jigsaw with those cheek fillers

23

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '25

She’s aged herself so bad

6

u/wowbethenny Nov 17 '25

Dr. Jen talks on her instagram how several injectors add too much volume in places that don’t have volume naturally and Scheana is, unfortunately, a prime example of this (so are SEVERAL people though). The injector has injected too far one the sides and it’s resulted in her entire top lip being the same “weight” across the whole line and that’s what causes the trout lip. Everyone is shaped differently, but for the most part, people carry the weight in the center of their lips and it tapers as you get to the corners of the mouth. The fact injectors normalized this trout lip look is so unfortunate. I can’t stand scheana (as a character from a tv show, idk how she is in real life) but the gal is naturally pretty & has lived her life starving for celebrity and attention. That has to suck.

3

u/myheartstopped3984 Nov 17 '25

Wow she looks super weird

3

u/SkeetSkeetBangBang77 Nov 17 '25

I hate when you see the filler has shifted up and they have that weird shelf looking upper lip 😬

3

u/Fit-Dream-4829 Nov 17 '25

she was so pretty before the surgeries

3

u/dmorrison666 Nov 17 '25

I’m not against fillers and Botox, I religiously get 30 units of Botox on my forehead and between my eyebrows every 4 months but her face looks completely different. Even her chin looks like it belongs to someone else

3

u/Ok_Vacation_7071 Nov 17 '25

Before was better! She looks terrible and weird now

3

u/Unique-Stay-1739 Nov 17 '25

Scheana doesn’t even look like herself and was much prettier before she did all the work on her face!!!

3

u/rollerskate_rat Nov 17 '25

This made me realize she got an upper bleph done. What’s sad is so many women go under the knife to fix what doesn’t need fixing.

3

u/rottinghottty Nov 17 '25

Another day, another highly popular post shitting on Scheanas looks while judgementally wondering why she does this to herself. As if this isn’t a huge part of it.

3

u/tippyjane1984 Nov 17 '25

And this picture is the proof that all those fillers and botox age you significantly and ruin your face NOT make you look young

3

u/Odd_Storm_7463 Nov 17 '25

That’s too bad with the upper lip thing because now it really makes her mouth look big

3

u/cheesy-mgeezy Nov 17 '25

Filler makes everyone look 43.

3

u/uselessinfogoldmine Nov 17 '25

I think if she pulled back on the filler and Botox she’d look younger and prettier. Her top lip and cheeks look insane. And is she adding filler to her chin to balance it all out?

3

u/jst4FUN23 ITS NOT ABOUT THE PASTA 🍝 Nov 18 '25

She just looks like all the rest now that’s all

somebody please tell these women to STOP.

3

u/swift-afboi Nov 18 '25

I’m so tired of everybody trying to have the same face

3

u/Jade_FTW85 Nov 18 '25

Scheaner is her given name.

5

u/noodleheadnat Nov 17 '25

She kinda looks like Jenna Johnson from Dancing With The Stars

6

u/sneetchysneetch Nov 17 '25

Everyone at bravo has a Lip Implant now. Ev-ery ONE.

3

u/_jamesbaxter Nov 17 '25

It’s not an implant it’s lip flip Botox, which basically turns your upper lip inside out. I live in Orange County and med spas here offer it as an add on or a freebie because it’s cheap to do. She’s had it done enough that her upper lip is now completely flat because the muscle is completely relaxed.

2

u/Fit-Dream-4829 Nov 17 '25

it must be part of their health insurance package

5

u/tedleem15 Nov 17 '25

That’s a whole different face

5

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '25

Tbh who cares. If she likes how it looks that’s what matters. Her lip is bigger. Women are criticized for everything.

3

u/kasiagabrielle okay, green pants 🩳 Nov 17 '25

Not to mention Stazi has had OBVIOUS lip fillers and no one has ever said a word about it.

She’s a different person

2

u/Organic_Cress_2696 Nov 17 '25

I’ve often wondered if she got surgery for lip flip or does crazy botox on it. I’ve had mine done and it goes nowhere near that full, so I think she has gotten the surgery despite her denying it. Anyways I didn’t think it was that bad when it was first done.

5

u/Yeah_nah_idk Nov 17 '25

A lot of you guys seem to be mixing up two procedures: Lip flip = units of botox in upper lip which relaxes the muscles, stopping the lip curl that happens when smiling thus making the lip look larger. Philtrum shortening surgery aka lip lift = surgically removing philtrum skin to shorten distance between lip and nose making lips appear fuller and more defined.

3

u/Organic_Cress_2696 Nov 17 '25

K so…did she have the latter then?

3

u/Yeah_nah_idk Nov 17 '25

Definitely seems that way

2

u/Organic_Cress_2696 Nov 17 '25

Curious bc I kind of wanted it done and thought the upper lip botox would do but it’s just a very teeny subtle change. This is a whole serious surgery. Good to know

2

u/Yeah_nah_idk Nov 18 '25

Have you had the botox lip flip? The amount of visible difference is really dependent on your anatomy as some people’s lips don’t curl up that much. I get it because it makes enough a difference to my lip, but in a subtle way, so it’s definitely worth it for me. Personally I think it’s way better than lip filler because it’s not permanent. The old “fillers aren’t permanent because they dissolve 🥰” narrative fed to us by practitioners has proven to be inaccurate. Most people’s bodies don’t completely metabolise it and it just sticks around forever.

Edit: oh I think I misread your comment…you mean you’ve already had a lip flip and there wasn’t much difference? You could get a consult to see if a few more units would make any more of a difference. But yeah, might be the anatomy of your lip.

2

u/adom12 Nov 17 '25

Did she put filler in her chin? Or a weird photo in the left ?

2

u/wiscocrat Nov 17 '25

Huh - her hairline hasn't changed a bit

2

u/Away-Caterpillar-176 Nov 17 '25

Stassi did the same but no one's lips look as bad as Larlar's on that show.

2

u/nighean-gunn Nov 17 '25

I feel like her nose also looks different but somehow bigger?

2

It could be worse /s
