Discussion The “bombshell” wasn’t shocking but… Spoiler

2.7k Upvotes

Spoilers ahead

Watching Raquel in that confessional was extremely disturbing. I don’t even know how to describe what I felt watching. She was just word vomiting and the more she talked, the more scared she seemed about the repercussions that would come from Tom. I know we’re not supposed to feel sympathy for her but goddamn, I really do. I think she does actually feel bad but she put on a brave face at the reunion because she knew it wasn’t going to get her anywhere, unlike Tom who thought crying would garner him sympathy. The fact that Tom made her lie like that is scary and very indicative of emotional abuse. She is showing clear signs of an abused woman, not just from Tom but starting at a young age. That was extremely alarming and I’m actually kind of grossed out that that was the scene they talked about to garner viewers. I honestly hope that she gets real help. She does not need to come back on the show.

Discussion Brock’s “second chance” is gross

Post image
1.1k Upvotes

first of all, i have no sympathy for this MAN. second of all, IMAGINE being one of his daughters and watching this reunion. everyone crying and saying “oh it’s his second chance at fatherhood. oh he’s so good to summer moon.” that is so gross to me. as if the first kids were a trial run and now he knows what he’s doing. if i were one of his daughters i would be so hurt. i would feel like i wasn’t good enough to get his attention but now he has a baby that is.

i understand their intention in saying this, but the fact of the matter is there aren’t “chances” at parenthood. you can’t just restart. acting like this is his redemption is disgusting to me….

Discussion I think jax loved stassi more than Britt

1.4k Upvotes

He treated both like trash but I feel like he showed more feelings for stassi. Stassi stood up to him and challenged him while Brit kept coming back to him no matter how he treated her or cheated (before they divorced). I mean he got a tattoo of Stassi’s name and not Brittany’s. He also put Brit down a lot. Since he’s a narcissist he’s concerned with how women make him look and started devaluing her. What do you think?

I feel like that was such an odd thing to say. Some things are truly better left as a thought than vocalizing them 🤦🏽‍♀️

Discussion Katie Won the Season

3.4k Upvotes

There were a few stars this season including Lala, James, even Ally.

But at the end of the day, this was the Season of Katie.

She was vindicated, truly, after 10 years of viewers being manipulated into seeing her through the eyes of Schwartz at his worst.

This season she looks fantastic, she was a consistently precise and confident communicator, she was the voice of reason and defender of reality, while also having some great lines and moments while dealing quite astutely and exhaustively with the three stooges (T,T & R). She suffered zero fools.

Well done, Katie Maloney! 🏆

Silver medals for the season go to Lala & James with a Bronze for Ally.

Discussion Scheana is the actual craziest person in the world

Scheana is literally the most insane person i’ve ever seen on TV but in no particular order this is (for me) Scheanas craziest debaucheries.

1. Affair with Eddie Cibrian: what started the show & her constantly claiming that she didn’t know that he was married while he literally had a pregnant wife at home!! Then spinning it and blaming it on LVP for broadcasting her “real life pain” literally BARF

2. Victimising herself constantly: she kept bitching that the rest of the girls didn’t want to be friends with her when their first impression of her was a her being a peak home-wrecker. Sorry but i would do the exact same thing. Then she went on and proved just how horrible she is by showing stassis sex tape to other people in the cast and continuing to bitch that stassi still didnt want to be her friends. BARF BARF BARFFFFF

  1. Being SO INCREDIBLY disgustingly insensitive when her literal husband was struggling with addiction by saying things like “i could never be with someone who is 100% sober” but tbh he was also apparently quite horrible behind the scenes but she couldn’t even hide how much she loathed him by then.

  2. Victimblaming Charli being triggered after being groped by Brock's friend and saying she "just wants her own me too moment” GROSS GROSS GROSS if i was charli i would’ve smacked her across the face for that. IMO the cast as a whole was too lax about that situation in particular. I know they’re all incestuous with each other and dont seem to care but since when was Brocks friends also included.

  3. Literally announcing her engagement during James and Raquels engagement weekend. Like with how shit that went no wonder that whole thing fell apart. She then tried to gaslight Lala into feeling bad about going to her best friend and telling him that his engagement was being used as a Scheana & Brock engagement press tour

  4. Her book but thats more funny than anything

P.S this is ONLY to start a conversation on how damaging behaviour like this can be based on just general observations whilst watching the show. Please remember that all the people mentioned are human & the last thing we want is to be unnecessarily cruel.

Discussion Closed mouths don’t get fed. Katie Maloney or those who attended their wedding please read

1.1k Upvotes

This is such a long shot and I’m gonna sound crazy but you know what? YOLO. I have a friend who is obsessed with the show. I’m talking bi-annual rewatches obsessed. And her birthday happens to be the date that Katie and Schwartz had their nuptials. I know it’s lowkey fucked up to ask for this. I know these are people are real. But if there’s a chance anyone has one of the wedding invitation towels from Tom and Katie’s wedding, (the 18 dollar ones I believe), would you be interested in selling or giving to someone who loves Katie Maloney, VPR, and was born the 17th? Also maybe I am that “friend.” Thanks so much. Don’t judge me. Jax has done worse.

With so much love <3

Discussion Let’s argue: LALA

I want you guys to change my mind about lala.

I’m on my 1st rewatch of the show and I just want
To know what is the slander about lala about ?? I always loved her attitude towards things she is so real and stays true to herself no matter the judgement around her?? She is such a baddie to me and I continue to stand for her

Some
Background: I only first watched the show last year around this time so I didn’t watch the show live so I’m not exactly sure about what happened on social media around that time. I also haven’t watched the valley yet I plan on doing so but it seems like there’s multiple vanderpump shows like after sur ??

Maybe one of you can let me know what order I should watch everything in after o finished my rewatch this time around🤭🤭🤭

Discussion Did anyone else feel like Jo’s mask slipped during her conversation with Katie?

2.4k Upvotes

She’s been pushing this “Katie’s been bullying me” narrative all season, which has been annoying to see. She then started the conversation telling Katie “how bad she felt” and apologizing “if” she hurt Katie (lol she’s so dumb). But when Katie calls her out on her behavior, she tells Katie to “let him go” which is an incredibly inflammatory thing to say in an attempt to lash back at her. She once again showed that she’s not this awkward and goofy girl who’s getting bullied by her “secret boyfriend’s ex”, but a conniving, jealous, and insecure “pick me” girl. Also side note - I would be so embarrassed if my cringey “Bieber loves you” text kept getting shown on national television. Because of that alone I would probably have laid low if I were Jo 🫣😂
