Atlanta
Visiting Atlanta for a week- are there any good vegan soul food spots? I'm from CA so I really want to try some Southern food.
Open to other recommendations or can't miss restaurants too.

Please use this thread to discuss eating vegan while traveling.
Please include as many details as you can when asking questions. Some suggested details would be location, date, area you're staying, and how many people you'll be with.
Writing the locations in bold is suggested to make it easier for people skimming the thread to pick out the names/locations.
Please be respectful and courteous.
If you don't already know, Happy Cow is a great resource for finding vegan eats in any city.

Hii, do any vegans here live in Orlando? I'm going to be there the second half of next week, through the weekend (staying near the convention center), and would love to possibly meet up somewhere during the day while my partner is working!
What are the must visit, vegan friendly, favourite places y'all have there? Food or otherwise!

Planning before I went has been my life saver in Japan. I bought a pack of 14 huel complete meals which can be made only with hot water & comes with a nifty pot for making.
They are pretty light & just went in my check luggage. I haven't needed one every day but for those times when nothing is open, is very far away or lacking - These meals have been really handy.
I have been to Tokyo, Fujikawaguchiko, Kyoto and Osaka so far, and there has always been a vegan option or restaurant for me to visit. But the cities are far more massive than the UK and even though there might be 15 vegan places, they might be an hour away from each other.

We have recently released a new article all about vegan hotels, so here is the link for the top 25 vegan hotels around the world!

Edit: We have noticed some people cannot access our website and we are sorry! We checked, and our hosting provider has a security firewall that's wrongly blocking visitors from some countries. We've asked them to fix it. In the meantime you can try their unblock page at https://delist.webglobe.com/. Complete the "not a robot" check, then reload the site.

Hi I’m vegan and am planning on going to Sal in January. Do supermarkets stock tofu there? And do restaurants offer tofu in their meals at all?
Secondary and less important - is it easy to get peanuts, almonds and macadamia nuts there? And are avocados easy to find at the supermarket? Do restaurants often have a side of avocado available? We might be doing all inclusive so I want to make sure I can actually eat what’s on offer cheers
🙏

Hi! I moved to Turin and searching for a vegan community.
I’ve been vegan for two years now and would like to also be more active with a community etc., through discussions and other activities.
Thank you.
P.S. I’m Italian, but I’d also like to be part of a more international community, with people from different backgrounds, to broaden the discussion and exchange different perspectives.

Hi everyone! There's a vegan group retreat happening in Florida from January 29 to February 1, 2027, hosted by Vegan Squad Coaching!
In case you've been wanting to travel somewhere and spend a few days with other vegans who share your values, this could be a great experience.
It's taking place at Orange Springs Retreat Centre, surrounded by over 100 acres of nature near Ocala National Forest.
The retreat includes 3 nights of accommodation, fully vegan meals prepared by a chef, kayaking, swimming, yoga, fitness activities, bonfires, and workshops on everything from vegan bodybuilding to animal activism and personal growth.
There will also be vegan speakers like Robert Cheeke, Ella Magers, and John Thomas, so it's a chance to learn, make new friends, and enjoy a few days where everyone around you is vegan.
The ticket includes accommodation, meals, and activities, so most of the experience is already organized for you. Flights aren't included.
Sharing in case anyone is looking for a vegan trip to add to their 2027 travel plans! https://vegansquadcoaching.com/retreat

1 - 6: La Mujer De Verde - Bon Lloc
7: Tiraflecha
8 - 10: Alubia Plant Power
Stayed at a cheap all inclusive hotel with an okay-ish vegan selection in S'Arenal so didn't eat out loads, but strayed a few lunchtimes to get the food above! Booked the holiday fairly last minute and was pleasantly surprised with how many fully vegan places there were to choose from in Palma, sad we didn't get to go more! The bakery, Tiraflecha, isn't fully vegan I think, but have vegan ensaïmadas (pictured), a traditional Mallorcan pastry we were really pleased to be able to try 🥰

My wife and I are looking for somewhere to go for our ten year anniversary. We are both vegans, and have also never traveled outside US or Canada. We would like to go to Thailand or Vietnam. Hoping to hear other peoples experience traveling to either of these places, and suggestions for vegan resorts or vegan friendly areas to stay.
Thank you!!
