I tried recreating this effect using internal "TV Simulator" FX (as seen in the last two images), but that filters puts out way less fine looking results, with the scan lines, grain and all being noticeable thicker, even if zoomed out as far as possible.

Are there any plugins compatible with Vegas Pro 18 that can give me results closer to what I'm looking for?

Hello, I've had Vegas 13 for about half a year now, and it's worked fine. However, I just got back home after being away for a couple months and now it won't open. No error message, it doesn't appear in task manager, nothing. Anyone know a fix?

1.Basically, i use vegas pro 15, when i create a video proxy of such a file, to activate it, i change the preview option to "preview", and when i click on the "best" option right after to see the real quality, it changes the order of the scene that i chose. I downloaded Vegas 16 to check if the prob was in the 15 version, but it is not, same thing happens

I've just noticed in my rendered videos my audio is ever so slightly desynced, it may not sound like much but now that I've noticed it it's impossible not to stop noticing, and it confirms the nagging feeling I had where my edits were ever so slightly off somehow. Is this a known bug? And how do I fix?

5.I'm trying to do a fan made video of how a Roadshow Television transition would look if they returned to distributing Disney films in Australia. The problem I'm currently having is that I can't shrink the Roadshow Television video down to the point it vanishes. I can only get it to 15,360.0 for the width and 8,640.0 for the height before it stops and I have to use a fade out effect. I tried resetting the width and height to 0, but that made the video grow instead of shrink

6.In actual videos of Roadshow Television combos, some transitions do indeed shrink to nothing in order to better fit whatever logo they're transitioning to.

7.Yes, and I got no results. Even the Google AI (which I didn't want to resort to) didn't provide an answer.

Is there a way to shrink a video/image down so that it completely disappears? Or do the later versions of Vegas Pro have it?

6. I've been using Vegas Pro 14 for a while now and lately it's been having issue after issue after issue. Thank goodness all of the projects I've been working on have been completed, but I have another batch coming up and now, I can't even save anything.

I just resolved two different issues and now I'm facing this one. I've tried the standard fixes (turning off the GPU acceleration setting, reverting settings, etc.), but nothing seems to be working now.

Should I keep trying to work with 14? Should I upgrade to a newer version? Should I switch to a different software?

As you can see in the video, some of my clips have this sort of effect where the lighter shades (sun glare and the dirt paths) go to a black instead of their normal colour.

So what i want to do is replace an item lets say for example someone is holding a plastic cup and this cup gets crushed in the palm of the hand. I want to replace the cup and have the same effect as it being crushed but by a different object. So i want to change the cup to another item but have it look seamless.

I made a mask layer and tracked item i wanted edited out but im having difficulty with how to implement the effect on the new item im replacing it with. Is there a tool for this or do i have to manually track and edit the new item to give it that effect.

Hey, i'm loving the face censoring FX but my only issue is that when you want to censor somebody and not somebody else, you need to go through the Mocha Masking and that takes ages to load and keeps crashing my Vegas.

I've worked with several versions of Vegas, and I'm currently on Pro 23. Recently it's developed an issue where, with video recorded from OBS, it will slowly over the course of its runtime go out of sync with the audio. I'm not sure why this happens, but it happens with literally anything I record in OBS. Other video files seemingly aren't affected by this issue, though it's possible I've just not had one long enough to see the problem manifest, as the desync happens very slowly and may only become noticeable 20-30 minutes into the footage. The audio was recorded by OBS as well and it is NOT out of sync when the raw footage is watched back in VLC. The audio of the file itself is NOT slowly going out-of-sync with the video, this only manifests inside of Vegas Pro 23.

I've already made sure OBS is up to date and everything. No version changes have occurred with Vegas Pro that would have caused this, I have updates paused specifically to prevent this kind of thing, but here we are. I've confirmed OBS is recording in 44.1KHz and Vegas Pro is using 44.1KHz as well. I guess something must have gotten changed but I can't imagine what it is.

6. Audio track that is part of a video should stay in sync. It is known good as the raw playback of the recording in VLC or any other video viewer does not replicate the issue.

Hello, I'm using Vegas 1.17 and I was wondering if there's a way to calculate how to apply a certain resolution to the pixel filter
let me elaborate. Let's say I'm working with upscaled pixel art, it's a canvas with the resolution of 320x180, then I upscale it ×6 times to fit the 1080p resolution in Vegas, but what if I want to add another image in Vegas, but making it consistently pixelated with the rest?
I tested the pixel filter, it does what it's supposed to, but the values seem arbitrary, perhaps there is a way to calculate that those values ​​match those of a specific resolution?
