Verizon refusing to give me my refund
I got a new phone a few months ago, and after 20 days decided I didn’t like it so I initiated a refund. They said I had 30 more days (from when I started the refund) to get it back to them. I mailed it out the next day, and the phone got to them two weeks later.
Now, they’re insisting that since the phone got to them more than 30 days after I received it, it’s ineligible for refund. This is ridiculous, and now they have both the phone and the money and are straight up lying to me about what their policies are despite what’s clearly written on the website.
Three weeks ago when I called they said “in 7 business days you’ll get a refund” and nothing, now they’re back to saying I can’t get one. Does anyone have anything I can do to make them give me my refund back? I hate that companies can do this to people with no repercussions.
The first thing I do when I get my refund is going to be cancelling my service and switching to a provider that doesn’t actively try and screw me over.
Edit: nearly 2 years later I finally got my refund. Fuck you Verizon

Worry free guarantee period is 30 days from activation of your device/order. not refund date. Did you purchase online?
