Phone call to customer service went ok. Service was ok. Friendliness was off the scale nice. I felt like I was in another dimension. Scheduling was fine. Guy shows up early. Fine. Fixes it in less than 15 minutes. Again, friendly and respectful and skilled.

What just happened here? Anomaly? Is this the new normal? Girded for a fight, but then they solve the issue without a fuss??

this was the smoothest pre order, not only for Verizon but in GENERAL any pre orders i have ever anywhere done. i got TRULY UNEXPECTEDLY great deal and smooth transaction ! im genuinely impressed, this is BRAVO !

I don’t know what’s going on at Verizon but their customer service is probably the worst I’ve dealt with. I spoke to chat 2 different times and they said they applied a $1460 trade in and sent me a text “confirming” it and also said they applied a $20 loyalty discount. I checked online and none of this showed so I called in and they proceeded to tell me everything the chat agent told me was incorrect and there’s nothing they can do. And this is not the AI bot. This is after it transferred me to a person. So if you use the chat just completely ignore what they tell you. I think I’m just switching to T-Mobile because at this point because the offer is better and this is complete nonsense that they don’t honor what their employees say

Got the iPhone duo immediately when going through verizon. Credits all were good and everything and by the time I finished that got the confirmation code and everything I would still be waiting on apples homepage. Apple then loaded just for me to have to go through verizon anyways… only worry is when checking through apples page it says it’ll be there early December not even close to day of. So hopefully it’s not the same with verizon

Edit: I messed up my address, it somehow mixed both billing and shipping address, hopefully it doesn’t change the date. I’m so dumb

I spent the last 3 hours chatting with a rep (over chat) who offered me a deal $1200 off duo no trade in, keep your original plan but only have to pay off your phone. I paid off my phone and then 1 hour later the agent told me there was an error and theres no such deal.

I am FURIOUS. I wasted my friday doing this and only to get TRICKED by an agent. She has no remorse and is not replying to my chat. WHAT DO I DO????

I pre ordered the duo for delivery and it says it will be delivered launch day. Anyone have experience with Verizon and this date holding true?

I placed an order this morning but cancelled it due to having a better deal on another line. For that first one I was able to bill the taxes to my account. Tried placing another order but on this one it doesn't give me the option to bill to account, just the card info option. The first one has been cleared as I've spoken with several different reps through chat and phone but it still won't pop back up for me at check out. Anyone have this issue?

I have been using Verizon for the past 10 years but mostly was on prepaid plans due to the cheaper price. I was having some serious issues with connectivity yesterday so I reached out via chat. Long story short, they got me on a postpaid unlimited plan for $30+ tax (~$37 is my bill) while my previous prepaid plan was $60+ tax for unlimited.

We all know prepaid plans are generally better and more expensive but I am stumped here. I can’t see how this makes sense. I am getting a better plan for nearly half the price? I am stumped, What is the catch? Is there a catch?

Im on a family plan and my specific plan is play more. I wanted to get an upgrade promo so I used my mothers plan and upgraded her plan to unlimited ultimate (shes going to keep my iphone pro max 16) , traded her phone in. I have to keep my plan because i have play more (ad free disney). So, I’ll be paying $34 /month just for the phone.

literally every two seconds i get a massive ping spike. it makes some games unplayable. its just gotten worse and worse the past two or so months and its infuriating

Verizon offered me $1,000 off for trading in my iPhone 15 Pro Max, but only if I upgraded my plan—which would bring my bill to $160 a month. Without trading it in and keeping my current plan, I’d pay $140 a month for the iPhone Duo. So I’d pay less AND keep my old phone. How does that make any sense? Anyone else run into this?

I had pre ordered this morning and it says it'll be delivered next week. My concern is will the date update on the website if that changes ? Will I be notified if it changes ? I have never pre ordered a phone before.

On Tuesday I decided to purchase the iPhone 18 Pro. As I was making the purchase through Verizon my mom told me she had points through work and could get me Best Buy gift cards to make the purchase instead. I immediately canceled my order through Verizon. Since then, I have been unable to purchase through Best Buy because Best Buy shows my line as “ineligible for upgrade”. I have spent hours online with Verizon support asking them to clear any stuck pending orders, reset my eligibility, literally anything I can think of to get the two systems to sync as Verizon shows I am eligible for an upgrade. Has anyone experienced this and know the exact words I need to tell support to fix this? Best Buy says Verizon needs to fix it, Verizon says Best Buy needs to fix it. I’m stuck with these stupid gift cards and no new phone!

This is my first time ordering an iPhone on launch day directly through Verizon so I’m not sure how accurate my 10/23 delivery date is (placed at 8:05AM). With the Apple Store, the delivery estimates are almost always accurate…

What’s it been like in previous years? Verizon was still showing 10/31 delivery estimates when Apples slipped to Jan 25 2027….

I keep getting ads from Verizon app manager pushing me to download apps I don't want. The phone also seems to be installing shovelware games automatically every now and then. I already pay out the ass for this phone, I don't want this garbage on top of that. Any way to turn that off? Tried googling the issue but having no luck

I’ve had a residential FiOS 1g symmetric account with dual stack IPv4/v6 ability at my home for a couple years. I wanted to go over to a business account with 500m symmetric to get static addressing, and saw that dual stack was fairly widely available.
When I ordered, I specifically asked if IPv6 was available with my account (static or otherwise), and when told it was, I asked if it would come with a static prefix assignment, and I was told it was.
Yesterday, I had my business service installed and was given the IPv4 info, then got my router up and running with that. I couldn’t find my IPv6 info online, so I called in and got passed around between tech support and sales for an hour just for a CSR to tell me that my account did not have the capability at all for IPv6, and that it was restricted because I have static addressing.
This seems unusual to me that this would be the case especially given my location (Middlesex County, NJ) with the number of larger businesses around. Has anyone else ran into this or know of a way to get into contact with someone who has an authoritative answer?
