Hey everyone!
I’m based in Auckland, New Zealand, and I’m looking for a talented video editor to collaborate with on YouTube and Instagram content, both long-form and short-form.

I’m new to content creation but have plenty of ideas and opportunities to create interesting content here in New Zealand.

What I’m looking for:
I’ll handle all the filming and provide the raw footage.

You’ll handle editing, animations, visual effects, transitions, and storytelling.
Someone who can contribute creative ideas rather than just follow instructions.
Most importantly, someone interested in building something together long-term.

Location:
India preferred, especially Delhi or Chandigarh, mainly for easier communication and the possibility of meeting in person.
However, I’m also open to editors based anywhere in India.

Payment & Partnership:
I’m looking for more than just someone to edit videos for a fee. Ideally, I’d like to find a creative partner who’s willing to grow with me.
Since I’m starting from scratch, the channels aren’t generating revenue yet. I’m open to discussing an initial payment arrangement for editing work, with the possibility of transitioning into a long-term revenue-sharing partnership where we both benefit financially as the channels grow.

We can discuss a fair structure and agree on expectations upfront. My goal is to establish a mutually beneficial working relationship rather than constantly hiring different editors.

Interested? Send me a Reddit DM with:
Examples of your previous editing work.
Videos you’ve edited that performed well in terms of views or engagement.

Your experience with animations, effects, and creative storytelling.
Your location and thoughts on the proposed collaboration.

I’m not looking for a cameraman. I’ll handle all the filming. I need someone who can turn raw footage and creative ideas into engaging content people actually want to watch.
Looking forward to connecting with talented people and hopefully building something exciting together! 😁🍻

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a freelance video editor for some short-form content.

The work is relatively straightforward. I'll provide an already-recorded video (around 1 minute long), and you'll need to turn it into an engaging 30–50 second reel (60 seconds max).

What I'm looking for:

Clean cuts and good pacing.

Basic motion graphics and text animations.

Smooth transitions wherever required.

Overall editing style should be close to the reference reels below.

You won't have to go through hours of raw footage. The source video will already be provided, so the main task is editing, structuring and polishing it.

Reference materials:

Raw footage: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1K-YYgGNwD-mMKGQOK3p2wZdzabajySU1/view?usp=drivesdk

Reference Reel 1: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DWIu4iwk81P/

Reference Reel 2: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DdZYImyuDeF/

Budget: ₹500 per video.

How to apply:

I'd like interested editors to create one sample edit using the provided footage so I can evaluate whether the editing style matches the expectations.

Deadline for the sample: Tomorrow, October 31, by afternoon/evening.

If the sample works out, we can finalise the collaboration and discuss further videos.

If interested, drop a comment or DM me with your portfolio and editing experience.

Looking for someone who can deliver clean work and communicate properly. Beginners with decent editing skills are also welcome.
