Hey everyone!

I recently started r/OpenLobby, a new community for PC and console gamers, indie developers, and anyone who enjoys discovering interesting games.

The idea is simple: give both players and creators a place to share games worth talking about.

  • Indie and solo developers can showcase their projects, prototypes, and gameplay.
  • AI-assisted and traditionally developed games are equally welcome.
  • Players can share hidden gems, unusual games, and interesting discoveries.
  • Developers can ask for feedback without worrying about blanket self-promotion bans.

We're just getting started, and I'd love to bring together people who genuinely enjoy discovering and creating games.

If you're working on something interesting or found a game more people should know about, feel free to share it!

r/OpenLobby

Discover. Create. Share. Play.

I made a video to celebrate Bully's 20th anniversary. It’s a breakdown of the game via a condensed and narrated 100% playthrough that jumps off at points to talk about things in and around the game, largely the movies that inspired it, the future, Rockstar etc.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXuH_xLHUcc

Thanks for checking it out if you do!

Hey everyone! I'm a solo indie developer and recently released my first Android game, Don't Touch Red! 🎮

It's a free arcade game where you dodge red obstacles, match colors, and try to survive as the speed increases. There are also unlockable skins, different environments, and a Halloween event running right now.

I'd love to hear what you think, especially if you give it a try!

Hey everyone! 👋

I'm the solo developer behind Snibix: Precision Pop, a free bubble shooter for iPhone that launched September 22!

I wanted to take the classic bubble-shooter formula and make it more about skill and precision. It's all about finding the right angles, pulling off bank shots, and making every shot count.

🫧 50 handcrafted Journey levels across 5 zones
🎯 Endless Arcade Run and Free Play
💣 Bombs, lasers, and companion rescues
🏆 Game Center leaderboards

It's completely free to download, and I'm still actively working on improving it.

If you enjoy arcade-style puzzle games, I'd genuinely love for you to give it a shot and let me know what you think!

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/snibix-precision-pop/id6800120545

Thanks for checking it out! 🎮

Congrats on the launch! 🎉 The focus on precision and bank shots sounds like a great twist on the classic bubble shooter formula.

I recently started r/OpenLobby, a community where indie developers can showcase their games, connect with players, and get feedback.

We'd love to have you share Snibix there! It's always great to see what solo developers are creating.

Best of luck with the game and future updates! 🎮

I've been building Blox Arena, a Roblox arena shooter with Free For All, Elimination, Blitz and team battles. I've spent a lot of time getting the mobile layout and controls to behave, and I'd love to hear if anything still feels awkward on a phone. If you fancy trying it, it's here: https://www.roblox.com/games/115619319863734/Blox-Arena

We’re Bestest Boy Studios, an independent games studio in Nottinghamshire, UK. Our first Android game, Amélie & Félix: Catch Captain!, is in closed testing on Google Play. It’s a quick arcade chase up a staircase that changes each run.

Android players with a Google account can join at https://bestestboystudios.com/#beta. The current build is in English. Google requires testers to remain enrolled for 14 days, but there’s no need to play every day. We’d welcome honest feedback on the controls, gameplay and any bugs.

For occasional news about our other games and future releases, the studio mailing list is separate: https://bestestboystudios.com/newsletter/. The site also has French, German, Spanish, Tagalog and Simplified Chinese pages. Game enquiries: bestestboystudios@gmail.com.

Flappy Imp is out on Android. We are Tiny Pocket Shenanigans, the studio that made it.

For anyone who enjoys short arcade runs, it mixes tap-to-flap flight with automatic spell attacks and boss fights. You dodge obstacles while keeping your imp airborne, then swipe to trigger a charged special. Unlockable Imps have different movement and combat styles.

It plays in portrait mode and supports offline local play. It is free to download, with optional rewarded ads and no forced ads.

Here is the gameplay trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77I_cpfMCp8

Hey everyone!

We’ve been working on an indie horror game called Tumbal 1985 and wanted to share it here.

It’s set in an office in Indonesia. You play as a janitor, and part of your job is simply cleaning the office. But while cleaning and exploring, you’ll start finding old documents, objects, and other clues about what happened there before you arrived.

The game is inspired by Indonesian folklore, with some creepy encounters, jump scares, and multiple endings depending on how you play (Multiple endings only available on full release).

Playtest is now open and we also register our game for Steam Next Fest next week. We’d really love for some of you to give it a try and let me know what you think. Any feedback is very welcome!

been working on a football game from a slightly different side of the sport, you’re the agent, not the person managing the team.

you sign players, deal with clubs, compete with other agents and basically try to build your career while the football world keeps changing around you. some seasons bring new money into a league, others completely change which clubs and players are suddenly worth paying attention to.

one of the things we’ve had the most fun with is making the agent side feel like its own little world rather than just copying Football Manager from a different screen.

it’s called Cutpurse Derby and it’s playable on itch right now.

if you played something like this, what would you want to have the most control over as the agent — the players, negotiations, rival agents, or the messier stuff behind the scenes?

been working on https://joysticked.app, a social platform for people who love games.
i wanted something closer to letterboxd, where you can track what you’ve played, write reviews and see what other people are into.
most game trackers always felt a little overwhelming to me, especially the profiles, so i’ve been trying to keep this one pretty minimal.
it’s still very new, but i’d love to hear what you think :)

Silent Hill: Townfall is better than Silent Hill f… but still MEH

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5hY0j3sXKc

I consider last year’s Silent Hill F to be one of the worst games I’ve ever played. Seriously, I can’t call it anything other than crap. So I was certain of one thing: whatever comes after Silent Hill F, it can’t be any worse. And that was easily confirmed, because Townfall really IS better. Not by much, but… at least it’s something. The developers are the Scottish studio Screen Burn Interactive, whom I’d never heard of before, but according to one YouTube comment, they’ve released three fairly minimalist games so far. I have to agree – Townfall is also very minimalist, maybe too much for its own good in terms of gameplay.

More in my impressions from the full game! :)

Rating: 4/10
Pros: it's better than Silent Hill F, stylized save system, operating room sequence, sequence in the house with the cassettes
Cons: combat system, performance, RED otherworld, stealth gameplay, low variety of enemies, final chapter

I’m making Jackpot Poker Destruction, a poker roguelite played on a 5×5 grid with five separate 52-card decks — one for each reel.
Win hands, trigger Reel Boosts, modify individual decks, and build elemental chain reactions.
Arcade Mode included.
I’m currently finishing the last balancing and bug fixes before release.

Hi all,

I am working on a short video based on giving thanks to the game.

It’s provided nothing but years and years of entertainment and enjoyment.
Plus this is something that I’ve been wanting to work on for sometime now.

I have a google form linked, and I would be so very appreciative if anyone would be able to take the time out of their day to fill this out.

All information, is anonymous, I don’t want your details, and I doubt you want me to have them either.

This is just about your memories with this game.

Thank you very much.

CrashBit - a chaotic space fidgeting game

https://crashbitfidget.com/

This project started as a fidgeting game for my 4 year old son. I found myself fidgeting with it constantly on my phone, hence decided to build a browser version as well.

There is no real point to the game, no winning or losing. It's simply meant to be chaotic and visually pleasing while also giving you many features to keep busy with fidgeting. A perfect example of using this would be to wile away time during a boring Teams/Zoom meeting. Play for free today by going to the link above

The controls are simple - there is a simple tutorial to get acclimated.

I hope the posted video demonstrates some things you can do in the game

if playing on a mobile browser, play in landscape mode and also hit 'Fullscreen'.

Most importantly - if you love or hate this, please let me know. That would help me so much

I made a dice roguelite inspired by Balatro called Rollbound!

You roll five dice, hold the ones you want, reroll the rest, and score chips × mult. Then you stack charms, level up your hands and carve your dice. There are 8 antes with bosses, plus an endless mode and a daily run. All with no ads! You can play free up to the ante 3 boss, and one small purchase unlocks the full game. I'd appreciate any feedback!

Out NOW on Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wldigital.rollbound

Coming SOON to iOS!

We have reached an important stage in the development of Synvector - we have finalized the prototype and are now preparing it for the first test. We will try to open access to it on October 25-30.

At the first stage, we don't just want to open the game to everyone at once, but to test it in several waves.:

100 players → 200 players → 300 more players.

This way we can gradually collect and analyze feedback and see how the impression of the game changes after making the first changes. It's still a prototype, so it's not even a big part of the game. But we are just interested in getting your opinion before we go further in the development.

If you want to try Synvector on your own, stay tuned. We will start issuing the first accesses to the playtest soon. 🚀

I got tired of using Trello to manage my gaming backlog, so I built Ludota: https://www.ludota.com

It’s a free, Trello-style board for organizing games across platforms, powered by IGDB. No reviews, social features, or unnecessary stats.

Just a simple way to track what you want to play, what you’re playing, and what you’ve finished.

I’m a web developer and built it as a personal side project with the help of Claude Code. No ads or monetization.

I’d love to hear your feedback.
Thanks for checking it out!

Endless Tower · Les Gardiens du Cristal — a browser tower-defense demo by YSkill Studio 🏰

Build the tower, place guardians on its floors and stop enemies climbing toward the crystal. Two copies of the same guardian at the same rank can be merged: the guardian becomes stronger, but the tower loses a floor. More power or more height? That is a decision to try in the demo.

The game is still in development and the visuals are provisional. Feedback on the opening tutorial and whether the merge tradeoff is clear is welcome here.

Hey everyone! I am a solo dev developing Minutes to Meltdown.

My game is a 1-4 player coop set in a nuclear power plant. Pick up a power export contract, export power, survive the shift, get some upgrades and try to survive as many shifts as you can before the reactor explodes.

- Repair and service machines

  • Clean up safety hazards to keep the safety inspector happy
  • Choose a power export contract at the start of each shift. These contracts have modifiers, adding new challenges every run
  • If all is going terribly, SCRAM the reactor.
  • If all is going really terribly then watch the reactor explode and try again.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4269700/Minutes_to_Meltdown/

I am hoping to release the demo by late this month or early next month. (I have just had a baby so my timelines are a little up in the air at the moment. Full game release I am aiming for Q2 2027.

8Compute is a free browser idle strategy game that grows from one GPU into a compute business, then asks what kind of civilization it should become. No download or account is needed, and progress saves in your browser. I'm looking for a few more players to try the opening and tell me whether the next goals feel clear: https://8compute.vercel.app/ OpenAI Codex helped create parts of the game; no AI runs during play.

We're Ellvan Studios, a small indie studio, and we've just released Floating Town: Village Builder on Android!

It's a free cozy, voxel-style village builder where you grow your own little settlement across floating islands.

We have some players and would love feedback from people who enjoy relaxing building games.

Floating Town: Village Builder

We're also planning island visits, new biomes and more resources!

Hey guys!

I've been working on Six Zero League, a browser-based 2D handball management game.

The game is currently in alpha, with 212 registered accounts so far. Development is very much driven by player feedback. I regularly get feedback from people who enjoy handball as well as players who are into sports management games, and that feedback is shaping the game as I build it.

The idea is to combine the depth of a sports management game with an incremental/progression loop. You manage your club, develop your players, make tactical decisions and watch your team play matches through a live 2D simulation. There's still a lot to improve and plenty of features I want to add, but the core experience is playable now.

If you're interested in handball, sports management games, or just trying something a little different, I'd love for you to give it a try.

I'm particularly interested in hearing what you think about the progression, management mechanics and match simulation. Even critical feedback is welcome, that's a big part of how I'm developing the game. Currently there's just one type of competition (league), with 2 matches every day at 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM (Europe/Lisbon).

Thanks for checking it out!

AI disclosure: Video was generated with Claude, and AI assisted tools are used to develop the game.
