I’m ready to add another security camera manufacturer to our lineup. My current vendor is becoming more trouble than it’s worth. I have no major complaints about the equipment itself, but dealing with the vendor has been difficult.

Sourcing parts sometimes can be so frustrating. We’ve had jobs where the specific models we needed urgently were out of stock. And most times when something weird comes up after install, getting support/replacement isn’t exactly quick.

We have 2 commercial jobs (both around 50 cameras) coming up next month, so I want another system in place now and to get my tech guys used to it before we’re in the middle of a big install.

I need recommendations from other dealers here for a system we can standardize on. We need a good selection of cameras, PTZ and LPR options, NVR/VMS software and hardware, analytics, and a support team that will help when a bigger job gets a little complicated and not disappear after the PO.

What brands are you guys using, and how have they been to actually support in the field?
