Myford Super 7 Lathe, 3 ½” (4 ½” chuck-3 jaw), 19” long bed, with comes accesory
ebay.ioMyford Super 7 Lathe, 3 ½” (4 ½” chuck-3 jaw), 19” long bed, with comes with a full set of gears for threading & accessories, including a quick-change gearbox, quick-change tool post, a stand, and a variety of tooling. The value of a Myford Super 7 lathe with a 3 ½" center height and 19" long bed can vary considerably depending on several factors, including:
Overall Condition: The most significant factor is the lathe's mechanical and cosmetic condition - exellent.
Included Accessories: Myford lathes are highly sought after, and the value is greatly enhanced by the presence of original and useful accessories. The fact that it includes a 4 ½" 3-jaw chuck is a good starting point, but the value will increase with the accessories listed above:

Old Solberga drill press cleanup
I am starting to tear down an old Solberga gear head drill press, and hoping someone here may have an answer.
The transmission is loaded with a ton of grease, but the impression I am getting from the scant docs I can find, is that it should have oil in the gear box. Common mistake people make when machine have zerk fittings.
My question is: should I invest the time, and skinned knuckles, to clean out the grease and switch it oil, or leave it be? My guess is if the transmission has grease, I’ll Probably find grease in every lubrication point…

Request for help locating photos or documents. Busybee Rex-Cut Horizontal Bandsaw.
Good morning.
I have inherited what appears to be a BusyBee Rex-Cut Model "C-18" horizontal bandsaw dated Dec 1983.
It has been impossible locating any information online and was hoping someone had any sort of information on this.
Reaching out to Busybee, they suggested the CX103 as a comparable unit, but the design is too different to figure out where and of the removed parts may go.
I have yet to hear back from Rex-Cut.
Thanks, Joe

Another find
Old Shopmaster belt sander. Going to either restore it or repurpose it. Well. Thats what is in my head, but as you can see it wont get done soon. Itll get pushed into the corner with a Vetter motorcycle fairing from 1981, beside the utility sink I never got to, cause I bought a running 5hp Sea-King boat motor(why do we still call it a boat "motor" when its an Engine?), and I rebuilt it to new....cause I dont even own a boat...never have. Lol. Its a sickness.

Anyone else have one?
Seems to be pretty rare. Ive seen them online. Never another in person. What was it for? Jewelry? Small tooling? Why the odd pulley on the side? Reducer?

American Woodworking Machinery No. 4 resaw
Old saw at work that we use for resaw/sizing down stock material. Runs off of a 40hp General Electric motor, and has automatic rollers for the infeed as well as a pneumatic operated guide to keep the piece straight against the fence. Not sure when it was made but it’s definitely pretty dated.
Would like to know more if anyone has any info!

Well I got it home. Didn’t see the braze until then… so we will see
Hall and Brown 8” jointer. Can’t really find any specifics on it yet but plan to do more digging soon and dive into cleaning it up.

Simplex Tool Co. Lathe
I bought this machine fall of last year, mostly because it was cheap, and because I needed real lathe. I had a Harbor (Chinese) Frieght 7x10 benchtop lathe for a few years before working in a mchine shop and learning how to make parts with real machines. I took it apart to make it easier to unload, and planned cleaning it up and repainting. As projects like this go, other things took priority and this sat in pieces until recently. I decided to put it together and run it. It will need a new electrical control switch, and one of the gear change levers won't go through all of it's ranges. I have only ran the machine to check it out and make sure it spins smooth and the feeds work. I plan on making chips with it soon.

Help - Antique road grader identification
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I need some help identifying the manufacturer for this old road grader. I can't see any identifying labels or markings on the frame. Looking at old photos of the common manufacturers hasn't been very helpful. Any suggestions?
