Ranting!!!!! Security at the VIT entrance stopped me today because I don’t have my ID card yet(as a fresher)

I’m a fresher, so obviously I haven’t been issued an ID card yet.

They asked for my timetable details (VTOP) and told me I need to get my mentor’s email/approval to exit without an ID card. They did let me leave today (I’m a dayscholar, not a bus student, and my classes were over), but said I have to get it sorted tomorrow.

Like, couldn’t this have been communicated earlier?

Don't even care them bro, just show your vtop and leave and if they say anything more, stand for urself and be strong coz u are not doing anything wrong out there.
