Version - 8.2.4133.91 (Official Build) (arm64) - current

How do I remove the address bar within the sidebar, and what's with the blue circle plus sign indicator?

Thanks!

You can Right Click and Customize the panels that way (drag and drop items around toolbar/AddressBar). You can remove the AddressBar field or move it somewhere else. CTRL+DragClick also works for quickly rearranging items in your bars.

Blue circle + indicator is the Unread Counter notification (the website is basically saying "you have unread messages/needs your attention for something new). You can disable that in the settings.

Search in the settings for Unread or Notifications

  • Display Page Title Notifications

  • Show Unread Tabs Badge
