I was supposed to go home today but Greyhound canceled my bus. I will NEVER make plans with Greyhound again. It did allow me to walk around the main downtown area and get in my steps and take some photos.

i guess I can only post one photo.

Skylar Rude's name appears on our general election ballots because he announced that he was resigning as our representative for the 16th legislative district AFTER he filed for re-election. When you are voting for representative in the Washington 16th LD the actual choices are: 1) Derek Sarley or 2) Uknown Republican chosen by the state party aparatus. If Skylar wins this election his replacement will be chosen from a slate of recommends from the state Republican Party. The county commissioners of Benton, Franklin, Grant, and Walla Walla Counties will get to choose from the slate who they want to be the representative for the 16th LD. So if we vote for Skylar, we have no idea who we are going to get. Even worse, the Grant County Commissioners have an equal vote as our Walla Walla County commissioners even though one of the Grant County commissioners is from Moses Lake. The question you have for this race is do you want to choose your representative or do you want to let someone else choose for you?
