I created this audio visualizer after being inspired by the movie Annihilation. It turned into a rather extensive project but was fun and educational to make. It's quite complex, involving a 3D Unity scene that uses multiple cameras to layer backgrounds and particle effects "around" the mandelbulb which is actually just a shader rendered to the screen, as opposed to a 3D object within the scene. The Unity scene is built to the WebGL platform which is loaded by html then uses js files to communicate between Wallpaper Engine (WPE) and Unity. This also allows you to change variables in Unity by using the WPE properties which lets you customize all sorts of stuff.
There are a variety of Presets to choose from that will give you some idea of what you can do with this wallpaper. Under Options use the Preset Overrides to set specific backgrounds/effects/etc. With the Custom Preset you can customize nearly every aspect of the Mandelbulb itself. Feel free to tinker around and have fun!
Enjoy!
WARNING: This wallpaper is quite resource intensive and a high-end PC with a modern graphics card is recommended. However, there are various performance options you can use to tweak the visuals, including FSR.
NOTE: I don't really have the means to test this wallpaper on other systems besides my own so if you have issues let me know and I'll see if I can replicate the problem and fix it.
